We had such an incredible stay at this beautiful home on the river. The house is perfectly located just down river from Roger’s park and just up river from hospital home, this means all the wildlife that moves between the the river and the gulf has to pass your balcony. During our ten day stay we saw so many manatee, dolphins, otters, incredible birds and butterflies. It was amazing. The house itself is beautifully decorated and included everything you could ever need and more. The seating area and beds were so comfortable and the bathrooms were spotless. The small details like makeup wipes in the bathroom and a stocked pantry really made all the difference. We will definitely return to this slice of paradise as soon as possible!

We spent eleven wonderful days in Ed’s beautiful home. The house was spacious, spotlessly clean and decorated to an extremely high standard; the beds were very comfortable and as for the surroundings, the pool, the pier and the yard, you would never have guessed that Hurricane Idalia had swept through only a few days previously. All was pristine – with plenty of comfortable seats to enjoy the sunshine. Kayaks and bicycles were provided, although we never made use of them. Plenty of catfish available from the pier though – we left a rod for others to use Ed was very responsive when we had a small problem with the entry code on arrival and the issue was speedily resolved. Similar immediate help was given with starting up the pool spa and thereafter we encountered no more problems during our stay. The home is situated in a quiet residential area, where we felt very safe taking a stroll early morning. Shops and restaurants were only a short drive away. The surrounding countryside was stunning - woodlands and wetlands bordering the quieter roads. If it were possible to give this place more than five stars, we would certainly do so. Thank you so much, Ed, for sharing your wonderful home. Were we not now getting too old for transatlantic flights, we would be back next year for sure!

You cant fault this house! It is easy to find, about a 2 hour drive from Orlando airport, the check in was convenient and Marta is a dream to communicate with. The house is in a beautiful spot with lots to do, see, and eat close by. Multitudes of restaurants and large grocery stores can be found on Commercial Way near the junction with Tarpon - about a ten min drive away. We ate at Cody's - loved it and locally at The Cove in Hernando - go there for great food and to watch the local alligator and terrapins from the deck. We went up to Ellie Schiller Homosassa state park to see rescued manatees plus other rehabilitated wildlife, plus we were lucky enough to experience a wild manatee, a racon and other wild animals during a wonderful kayak trip for 5 miles on the river in Weeki Wachee from Weeki Wachee Springs State Park Kayak Rentals. Highly highly recommended. The house has kayaks for use and we saw dolphins up very close, rays, birds and fish. Views of sunsets from the upper deck are spectacular. The house is well-equipped with almost everything you will need. Initially we spotted a couple of items that we missed from the kitchen, and after chatting to Marta they were delivered less than 24 hours later! Amazing service! The house is in a quiet location - very little external noise from the neighbourhood, including the canal side. Photos don't do it justice, especially the views. The internet is fast and reliable.
