Fantastic house and communication with Laure couldn’t have been better. There was some misunderstanding with translation of the French to English listing where the English version did not make it clear that the cost of linen for the beds and towels was an extra cost. However once Laure realised it was an issue with Vrbo we were not charged extra. It was a great house for our friendship group to re engage.

The house was very clean and well equipped with a good kitchen, very comfortable beds and excellent showers. Some bicycles, a kayak and a paddleboard were provided for visitor use. The beach was a short walk through pine trees and was ideal for our grandchildren for very safe swimming. Access to Noirmoutier and supermarkets was easy either by cycle or car. Our hosts were very welcoming and available for contact if necessary.

Fantastic property (even better than the pictures) in a lovely area. House was beautifully presented, lovely and clean and well stocked with everything you could possibly require. Very helpful and friendly owner and local housekeeper made the whole stay very welcoming. Highly recommended.

Very well maintained property, great location to beach and centre of Pornic. Linens and towels provided which was a nice surprise. Owners were super nice and helpful. Would fully recommend and we would return again.

Fantastic apartment, clean and very modern perfect for beach location,,

This apartment is spacious and very well appointed. The balcony/terrace and garden areas were lovely, and the views of the sea and surrounding trees and gardens were super. M. and Mme Le Forestier were welcoming and helpful, but left us to enjoy the tranquility of the accommodation. The walk along the coastal footpath below the house, and the easy walk to town and beach were very pleasant. The one-way streets in Pornic are easy to master with the helpful town plan provided by the owners. Parking in June was no problem anywhere. Lots to do around the town and adjacent coast. At times, the coves to the west of Pornic reminded us of the Greek Islands, (or Cornwall in good weather and without the crowds!). The best day trip was to the old town of Guerande and to the lovely Grande Briere (for the birdlife and waterways) via the fantastic St Nazaire bridge over the Loire. We didn't have enough days to fit in a trip to Ile Noirmoutier (visible from the balcony). We plan on returning.soon. Thank you for a lovely stay.
