Find mountain rentals near Jefferson National Forest

We had a wonderful time at this property, a few days before Christmas 2021. It was extremely clean and well maintained, had just the things we needed in the kitchen, and was extremely comfortable. The hot tub is brand new and was a great attraction even on cold December nights in Rockbridge County! We have already started talking about coming back and taking advantage of the outdoor amenities when the daylight is longer and the weather just a little warmer. Really, we had a great stay.

Property was clean, cozy and comfortable. So appreciate all the games, provisions and charm . We have been before, and will certainly return. If you you love the idea of a secluded, and welcoming corner of the earth, this is the place. We spent the majority of our time outside in the chairs, walking and roaming around by the river. Hopefully when it is a little warmer, we plan to return, and kayak this beautiful creek. Thank you to the Bowmans!!

We had 4 amazing nights at the cabin and would love to make another trip asap. As everyone has already mentioned, the photos do not do justice. We really appreciated the seclusion and privacy and were able to completely relax and destress. The comfort of the bed and the attention to detail in all facilities in cabin is fantastic, and the treehouse jacuzzi was perfect for relaxing in. A huge thumbs up.
