This is our 3rd time here and it never fails to impress. 1st of all the drive along the Old Yellowstone road is getting rough but I believe that is being addressed. You will need a good ground clearance vehicle. But, it's comfortable, has good zircon, great Wifi, beautiful views. Loads of Elk, Deer and I think we saw a bear! but it was fleeting. Easy 20min access to Yellowstone Park, 15 mins from Gardiner and lovely walks (take the Bear Spray) This is such a great place. (if they added a hot tub we'd probably never leave) It's going to be a while before we can come back but it's already in the planning.

From the beginning of booking until we left, Sarah was involved, informative, communicative, and helpful! The cabin is more than a cabin. It was a labor of love and it shows in every single detail. Sarah has thoughtfully put together an informative book regarding dining, places to see and hikes. She also went through a map with us and gave us MANY suugestions for places to see and some to avoid. We were extremely comfortable and content the entire stay. Everything you could possibly want or need was provided. Sarah is an extremely kind, down to earth, and interesting host whom I hope to continue to keep in touch with. She made the visit that much more amazing, in addition to our great and comfy accomodations!

This cabin had everything our family of five needed, including good WiFi for my teenage children. It’s clean, cool, and comfortable. The location about 35 minutes north of Yellowstone is convenient to explore Lamar Valley without overpaying for accommodations in Gardiner. River Haven is a great cabin for a great price.
