Find oceanfront rentals near Santa Monica Mountains National Recreation Area

We had a wonderful weekend stay at this beautiful apartment. The kitchen was fully stocked, beds were comfortable and the view was spectacular. We were a family of four (2 adults/2kids) staying in the area for a wedding in Trancas Canyon. It was the perfect location. We had some issues heating the hot tub, but we got it figured out by day 3. We would definitely book here again!

The property is absolutely beautiful and perfect for 2 people to stay. The place is right on the beach and you can hear the water with nice beach access as well. The villa feels very private with your own large outdoor space. The location is prime and near all the essentials in Malibu. The staff was amazing and so prompt on getting back to us. Would 100% recommend

This was my first Vrbo experience and it was fantastic! My whole family loved the house and the location. We quickly settled into a routine of walking on the beach and playing in the waves in the mornings, then exploring nearby places for the rest of the day. It was nice coming “home” to a peaceful spot after exploring. A car is needed. The owners took great care to leave useful information about the area. This home was private, quiet, steps from the beach, and a short drive from spectacular canyons. The beach felt private in the mornings and evenings, but it was also nice having a bit of activity around in the afternoons. Loved this place!

We had a lovely time. Beautiful ocean views from every level. Comfortable home. A bit remote for us, but we don’t know the area. Definitely need a car for everything. Hosts were extremely lovely and attentive.
