Find oceanfront rentals near Cedar Key Scrub State Reserve

First, I have to commend and thank the Owner, and the Manager, Evolve and VRBO for helping us with our reservation. They were all so kind and generous when a death in my family meant we couldn't arrive in Cedar Key, as planned. My husband and I are very grateful for their compassion and assistance!! In terms of the condo: we were delighted to find the apartment very well and comfortably appointed. The kitchen had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. We could have used a salad spinner and larger coffee mugs...but they are certainly not crucial to enjoying the apartment. The most wonderful aspect for me was the direct view to to the water. I had a front row seat from the living room and then on the balconyto the incredible storm our first day there, after which I enjoyed watching a pod of dolphins feeding, as well as huge pelicans fishing close by the beach. We would happily return !

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy house. Our host was friendly and welcoming. The little house was clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Good location.

We've stayed at Cedar Key a number of times but we've decided that Pelican Place is by far our favourite place to stay here. We loved being able to walk out onto the patio and gather around that photo-perfect circle of colourful chairs right on the water to watch the sunsets. The decor is just perfect for a charming hideaway by the sea. We also really loved being able to walk to all the pubs and restaurants and shops on the pier and along the main street. We will definitely come back again to Cedar Key and Pelican Place.

the property is fantastic. Unfortunately the fish had lock jaw due to cold weather. you couldn't get a better place to stay. beautiful and well priced
