We found both the location to be close to town and the Olympic Discovery Trail. The owner is extremely welcoming and helpful with any advice of the local area. This was truly a hidden treasure.

The cottage has a well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds and a variety of seating options. Best of all is the enclosed sunroom that looks out on a lagoon that attracts a range of waterfowl and eagles. The cottage also has views of Protection Island. Overall it’s a peaceful place in a quiet and lovely setting. This was our second visit and we’ll be back.

We really enjoyed staying at David's home. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we'd need. We loved that it was fully fenced for our dogs and that there was both open field and wooded areas for them to explore. We would stay here again.

Every minute at this lovely home was magical. The forest setting a short distance to town made it the perfect little home away from home. We made friends with the owner and I suspect he befriends all his guests with his kindness and attention to hospitality. We really enjoyed the hot tub under the stars, the din of frogs from the pond and the Barred Owls in the woods. I really appreciate the very well appointed kitchen and the started kit of goodies that Jack left for us so that we could immediately settle in. I've already started telling my friends about this Jack and his VRBO gem and we all hope to be back next year.
