What a perfect location. It was an absolute privilege to stay in this beautiful location above the clouds with the amazing view. The stars at night were incredible and it really is utterly peaceful, relaxing and stunning! We arrived in the dark due to having underestimated our drive times which wasn’t ideal. Completely our fault and the directions and communications were clear and helpful. The drive up is as others have said not for the faint hearted. The road is wide enough but massively rutted and difficult to manoeuvre. We read other people had done it on a regular basis throughout their stay but we only had two nights and it was our downtime on a road trip so we didn’t attempt it until we left. There is no question that the road up is worth the experience once you’re up there. It really is stunning and most definitely the highlight of our trip.
