Vacation rentals near Emerald Isle Recreation Complex

We just got back from a four night stay at this beautiful cabin. It was very clean, exactly as pictured and SO well stocked. They had a large variety of spices in the cupboard, condiments in the fridge, lots of garbage bags, paper towels and dish soap, shampoo, soap etc, plenty of towels, individually wrapped q-tips, single use pre-pasted toothbrushes, pads and tampons and cleaning supplies. The washer and dryer had laundry detergent/dryer sheets and was clearly quite new. BBQ worked great, bonfires were plenty (we bought wood by JD market out of the community) and fun was had by all!! We checked out the clubhouse and enjoyed their pool, pickle ball and basketball courts as well as mini golf. The kids loved their one dollar ice cream treats. We all really enjoyed picking out DVDs from the large selection, playing pool and skee ball and playing a couple of the boardgames. We walked to both Timber Lake (about 5 minutes away) and Holiday Lake (about a 30 minute walk) where the kids enjoyed running around on the beach. I messaged the owner a couple of times and she was great. Super helpful and quick to respond....much appreciated! We can't wait to hopefully return next year to see SO MANY deer in the yard again! My wife and I had a great visit at this spacious, neat and clean home sitting at the edge of a lake in a very quiet and peaceful neighbourhood. The house had everything we needed and as mentioned, was spotless. Thank you for having us Brandi.. we wouldn't hesitate to rent it again if we are in the area. Larry and Mary
