Potrero beach rentals

We really liked the quiet area that this home is in. Close to many restaurants and other beaches, but not busy like other areas. The beach in front is very quiet and has a gorgeous sunset. Slept very comfortably, the place is clean and nice, and communication fantastic. Would be happy to come again.

We enjoyed our stay in the area close to Play Flamingo so much we hope to return again. The condo was great for our family with 2 older daughters aged 20 and 22. Loved that we could enjoy the beach and pool at leisure without having to drive anywhere. We could walk into town on the beach as well. We booked the Lazy Lizard sunset cruise which picks you up in the bay at the far end by the marina. Highly recommend them. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our 7 days. Highly recommend this condo and the location is fantastic. The big deck was a great plus to play cards in the evening or enjoy our morning coffee! Fantastic stay!

The Condo faces the Potrero play so it’s beyond extravagant. It’s clean, well maintained and the host David is up to his task. The AC is terrific, very relevant as the temperature steadies around 30C, at the time during the day. The kitchen is relatively well equipped. Lacks better kettle for water boiling. The outside grill is not safe to use and it should be updated. The bathroom is fine, but the shower head is outdated/ worn out. WE give 9 out of 10 to this property. Our stay at the Villa was incredible. There were 10 of us celebrating our father’s 70th birthday and was the perfect place. Very safe and clean. It felt like our very own private resort. • Location is a beautiful beach view and in the town of Portrero. Expect daily walks on a beautiful beach and the sound of the ocean crashing every day is meditative. • Villa is very clean and has housekeeping come in daily (Yuri) who is absolutely wonderful. The beds are comfortable and all linens are clean. • The great room of the house is perfect for big families – we fully utilized the kitchen and every room upstairs has a view of the sunsets and ocean. The dishwasher is a bit wonky and could be fixed or replaced. Also the great room’s air conditioning/ fan system is quite weak. Each bedroom has it’s own air conditioner and fan which is amazing, but the great room/ main living room/ kitchen area of the villa should get checked out because the fan and air conditioners are not very effective. • The rooms downstairs open up to the main level and steps away from the ocean, so you don’t feel like you are lower level or basement. The bathrooms are much smaller downstairs and definitely dated and could use a refresh. • The pool could use an update but we used it daily and is aesthetically beautiful. • Arturo and Martine were very helpful and responded quickly to our every need. • There is construction going on right beside us so that was loud at times

We loved exploring the various beach towns from this location. Potrero itself has lots to offer within walking distance. The condo has everything you need (exactly as described) and has an amazing ocean/sunset view!

You will be thoroughly satisfied with this property. The nearby beaches are pristine, uncrowded, and just a 7-minute walk away (unlike Flamingo or the beach right in Potrero). There is an ice cream parlor within walking distance that attracts visitors from afar. The villa is comfortable and tastefully decorated, and the pool is large (the photos are not exaggerated). The owners are very considerate of guests' needs, providing boxes, grocery bags, coolers, beach chairs, beach towels, and beach umbrellas. The highlight was the impeccable service provided by the owner, Marilia.

We were looking for a house that would suit all of us. We were 6 adults, 4 teenagers, and 6 & 8 year old. We wanted somewhere that we could cook if we wanted to, and spend quality time together. We flew into Liberia and had a driver (arranged through Alexandra) pick us all up and take us to the house, about 45 min drive. All went smoothly. Once we arrived we all were impressed with the house, the teens scattered to claim their bedrooms. A highlight was that each bedroom had its own bathroom! The welcome fruit basket and coffee was so nice. The house looks just like the photos, fantastic. Even better was when we went outside and saw the lovely pool and then the kids ran to the ocean! they were so excited. Having Angie (the maid) come in each day and clean was such a bonus. We tried to stay on top of things but having her really helped. Any issues we had were dealt with quickly through Alexandra. Dealing with the owner was quick & easy, prior to our arrival. Alexandra helped us to plan some activities and arrange the transportation for all of us. Drivers always showed up on time. The boat trip was especially fun and we all loved it. If you're looking for a beautiful beach home to make wonderful family memories, this is the one! Pura Vida

This property is quite exceptional…beautifully decorated and amply supplied with absolutely everything. The grounds are beautiful and the view is spectacular. Very responsive host and property manager. Only superlatives for this property.
