Oslo cabins

When we arrived at the property we were completely overwhelmed by how quaint the cottage was and how incredible the views are! The cottage was spotlessly clean and had all the basics we might need for our stay. Truls and Kare were the perfect hosts and it was a pleasure to have a chat with them. The property is ideally located (right by the bus stop) for easy access into Oslo city centre. We will definitely be visiting again and have highly recommended this property to our friends and family.

We loved this cabin and were so sad to leave at the end of the week. It looked exactly like the photos, only the view was even better in real life! We spent many happy times looking out at the view and eating outside on the decking. The owner was responsive and kind, going out of her way to help us with a special request. The beds were comfortable, the sofas great and there was everything that we needed to feel cosy like blankets and board games. The kitchen was well equipped, no peeler or toaster which seems to be normal in Norway, but it did have a kettle and microwave. The location was ok, we visited Hamar and Stange and its not to far from a local supermarket (15 mins drive). We did some beautiful walks. A day trip into Oslo. Something to note - the attic room with the two small doubles was a nice space if you are not too tall - however the stairs to it were steep and very slippery. Unfortunately my other half slipped coming down on the first night when wearing socks, and really hurt his back. It would certainly not be suitable space for use by anyone with any mobility issues or over a certain age. However we would certainly recommend this property, and would love to stay here again. It was a highlight of our summer.
