  • Perfect home away from home.

"Your condo was perfect for our sisters get away to Vancouver Island. Clean, well stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, great shower, and many more amenities we couldn't use because of weather. The rain did stop for most of our outdoor activities. Loved walking on beach at low tide and close to many interesting sights. Would definitely recommend your condo."

  • Superbly placed Apartment, great amenities

"Stayed here as a family holiday, 2 adults and 2 children. Met upon arrival due to visiting from UK and was shown around. First impressions were excellent. Modern, clean etc. Kitchen has everything you could ever need, seems no corners have been cut, even had condiments to use which doesnt seem much but was really appreciated. Good size living area, spacious and airy. Gas BBQ on balcony which was good. Huge bed, myself and 2 kids slept there with loads of space spare! Large aircon machine, a little noisy but works well. Bathroom adequately sized with nice powefull shower. The apartment exceeded our expectations and was very comfortable. Good furniture and fittings, clean and plentiful towels/bed linen. Apartment block has a pool, sauna, hot tub and a gym. Made use of the pool and hot tub and gym looked modern. There is also a secure lock up with lots of beach toys, chairs etx. They really have thought of everything. Lovely area too, stone throw from the beach and 5 minute walk to the park. A family paradise. Would highly recommend this to anyone wanting a family break in a beautiful part of Vancouver."

  • Excellent location, clean and beautiful beach home!

"What a wonderful little piece of paradise! The house is located at the far edge of Resort Drive, along Tanglewood, which provided peace and quiet (even on the Easter Long weekend, when the resort area gets busy) and yet is still just steps away across the road from amenities at Beach Acres like Tennis courts, playground, and the famed Black Goose Inn restaurant. You can access the indoor pool at Beach Acres for a small fee. Behind the house is a green yard with trails into the woods - a favourite play area for our kids! From the house, it is a short 3-minute walk down the road to the trail to Rathtrevor Beach, it does include a steep hill but there is a road where we were able to drop Grandma off at beach level. Alternatively, the road into Rathtrevor Provincial park is just around the corner. Our party of 6, including grandparents and children, found the house to be spacious enough even on the rainy days! There is seating for 6 in the living room and it is open to the dining area and kitchen bar. Our favourite was the window seat beside the fireplace - so cosy in the evenings. Off the front entrance hall is the twin bedroom and a full bath with heated tile floors. The only thing we found was that the main living area is quite dark, even on bright sunny days. The back windows do not get any sun, although they are large and face the beautiful forest. Upstairs (up a long flight, but it is not steep and even the 70-year-olds managed fine!) is a spacious Master with balcony and window seat, and a gorgeous bath with soaker tub. The second bedroom upstairs is a second Master, with complete ensuite. The beds and linens were so soft and comfortable, it was pure luxury! The laundry machine is also upstairs. The kids were spoiled in their bedroom on the main floor with cute decor, twin beds and their very own TV for morning cartoons. They loved the sand toys and little table and chairs the owners left out for them - along with some new books and games, it was so very thoughtful! We cooked a few meals at the house, we were impressed how well stocked the kitchen was! Enough dishes to accommodate our party of 6 without having to wash dishes every day, much appreciated! There is a quiet, efficient dishwasher with soap provided as well. The owners ensured we had coffee and tea to get us started that first morning, nice touch. Great location, beautifully decorated, spacious -- We are already planning our next stay here!"
