  • Beautiful west coast get away with lots of space and close to the beach trail.

"Our family of 5, another family of 3, and my mother stayed comfortably in this beautiful house. The rooms are all nicely decorated with comfortable beds. The kitchen is spacious and has everything you need to make any dish you want to. The living area comfortably fit 9 people to sit and watch a movie or play games. The deck is beautiful and has enough tables and chairs to fit all with a view of the ocean across the street. The house is in a quiet, neighborhood , that is 10-15 minute walk to the beach. There is a lovely trail that you can run or walk on that goes to Rathtrevor beach. Parksville is a 5 minute drive to get what you need. Outside our door, we saw bunnies, deer, bald eagles, and a woodpecker. We loved staying here, our kids had so much fun! It is a perfect spot to get away from all the hustle and bustle and enjoy the West Coast!"

  • Beautiful, cozy cabin in a great location!

"My husband and I moved to the island and stayed at this cabin for three and a half months while waiting for our house to be built. It was a wonderful place for us to land, and we're so grateful to have stayed there for our first few months on the island. Parksville is a wonderful, friendly town, and it was great to have both Rathtrevor Beach and Parksville Community Beach just a bike ride or quick drive away! The location is also a good home base for exploring central Vancouver Island: just 15 min from Nanaimo, close to many quirky, artsy towns and tourist sports, and nearby parks and trails for walking, hiking, and biking - we especially loved Little Qualicum Falls. The cabin itself was clean, comfortable, private and safe. The kitchen is very well stocked, and the place is comfortably furnished. The resort's amenities are right outside the front door - swimming pool, exercise room, spa, salon, cafe, etc. - and there are beautiful trails through the woods and down to the beach right there as well, which my dog and I enjoyed daily. Laurel and Tom are wonderful. They went above and beyond for us many times before and during our stay - sharing information about the area (including vet recommendations for our dog!), and maintaining contact via email to make sure that everything was alright with our stay at the cabin. We would highly recommend staying here on your next trip to the area!"
