  • The Very Best There Is.

"Our two month stay in Jo-Anne's beautiful house was sublime. Everything is perfect; from the wonderful bed (which cured my back problem) to the amazing kitchen which is so wonderfully stocked with every kitchen aid you can imagine. I arrived with the flu and usually the only place you want to be when you are sick is in your own home and bed. Well, I felt at home and was very grateful for the beautiful sheets and lovingly decorated home. The house is immaculate and I really don't know how Jo-Anne keeps it thus. Everything from the freshness of the paintwork down to the kitchen equipment; it was as though we were the first people in the house. Fresh plants were through the house and some wine and nibbles to greet us. November and December were the coldest and snowiest months for decades, yet we were as warm as could be as there is an efficient forced air system and a beautiful gas fireplace. Jo-Anne even offered to decorate the home with Christmas decorations if we had so wished. Before the snow arrived, Jo-Anne arrived with salt to sprinkle on the drive way - what service. The view is beautiful and it must be heavenly in the summer. I wish I could give it a six star rating as it is perfection. Thank you Jo-Anne. We contacted Jo-Anne personally for this booking and it made is much simpler."

  • Rob and Lynne in Sidney

"We had a wonderful visit to Sidney and would certainly return. Great views, walking trails, super restaurants and main street. Very relaxing. Also the best bakery ever. Scott and Mary Alice's suite is within walking distance of everything including the bus into Victoria. It is a great suite with everything you need. Very clean, cosy, and well appointed. The patio gives you lots of extra space and the location is 100 feet to the water and walkway along it. Worth returning to in the future."

  • The Patio Suite earns a most definite WOW factor!

"Fleeing Edmonton to seek an early Spring with blossoms, flowers, trees with leaves, clean fresh air, pleasant walks, the magic of the ocean, and small town amenities, we discovered a gem of a "home away from home" with the Patio Suite! Don and Susan are very attuned to the needs of their guests, providing many kitchen aides and appliances, dinner and table wear, even umbrellas! The luxurious touches such as the bath robes, the thick spa towels, the ever-so-comfortable king sized bed and the wine, flowers and chocolates upon arrival, were most pleasant and appreciated. The generous welcome extended to our family pet was also another reason for us to select this property. The housecleaner is an "Over the Top Professional" with very high standards. Cleaning aids were also available to make daily maintenance easy. Sidney is a friendly, exciting and lovely city to visit, with many side trip possibilities in and around Victoria. It is impossible to get enough beach walks and sight seeing and Susan has narrated many excursions in the "household binder." As we have family living nearby, we were able to invite them to the suite to share lunches, dinners and memorable moments, knowing we would be able to entertain them in a warm, lovely and beautiful atmosphere. We would like to extend our thanks to Don and Susan for facilitating our visit and for providing this perfect sanctuary! It is our pleasure to recommend this property."

  • Great spot to stay while visiting Sidney.

"We very much enjoyed our stay. It was wonderful to be close to the ocean, we took long walks, while enjoying the ocean smells. There is a children's park across the road from the duplex as well as tennis courts. Many times we walked to Sidney's main street for groceries and were fortunate to buy seafood from the government wharf. The kitchen is well equipped to allow for cooking as well as baking. I highly recommend this home as a get away."
