Lovely ski vacation condo!

5 of 5
We stayed as a group of 5 for a 1 week ski vacation at Whistler-Blackcomb. This rental was fantastic, very clean and well appointed. We enjoyed the extra amenities including the ski boot dryer, private hot tub, and heated tile floors. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking essentials including a coffee grinder, as well as basic spices, cooking oil, salt/pepper, etc. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. It was a short walk (2-3 minutes) to the convenient free bus (Route #5) to both Blackcomb and Whistler village. The condo was only ski-in, to get ski out there is less than a 5 minute walk uphill to a trail by Coast Blackcomb Suites that leads out to the 'green area' by Lower Merlin's Run. You ski down Lower Merlin's Run to Blackcomb village and take Wizard Express lift to the rest of the mountain. To return to the condo there is a "home-run" trail that only is accessible off the blue runs "Short Horn" and "Lower Cruiser". The "home-run" trail is not for very novice or brand new skiers, you need to be a least an advanced beginner or intermediate level, the end section going to the condo can be steep and had icy conditions during our trip and most of our group chose to remove ski's and walk the last portion. We ended up finding it easier to just walk-in from the trail by Coast Blackcomb Suites rather than ski-in via "home-run". Overall we loved the condo and found it very convenient to the skiing and villages; it was also quiet and we were never bothered by noise from neighbors, etc. We would not hesitate to book this location and exact unit again for our next visit to Whistler!
