Property was just as beautiful and charming as the island itself! It was perfect for our stay!

If you are looking for a camping experience, this would be the place to go. You just need to bring yourself and a bit of food, everything is provided for you such as coffee, creamer, sugar, hair dryer, body was, shampoo and conditioner…I highly recommend this place. The owner were very helpful with areas to tour.

Clean and peaceful space.

Had a very enjoyable stay at the very comfortable, clean, inviting, well decorated Highland suite after moving from the smaller hikers suite. Both suites are excellent.The hosts Brian and Elizabeth were very helpful with our switch to the larger suite and did everything possible to ensure our stay was a comfortable and memorable one. Our toaster stopped working one morning and by afternoon there was a new replacement outside the front door.Hot tub is private using bromine instead of chlorine and there's a shared fire pit area in the back. Very enjoyable and heard lots of birds and an owl in the back.If you are staying in the area for a week, be sure to take advantage of the one night free policy. This is a very central location and we were able to stay here the entire week while being able to do different trails daily on different parts of the Cabot Trail which wasn't too far to travel.If you haven't been to Cape Breton, let us say OMG the views are absolutely breathtakingly stunning. Peaceful community, several choices for eateries and the bonus of a hot tub with a handrail for entry/exit. The suite was welcoming. Equipped with everything needed including a hair dryer. No Keurig but you can make your own brewed coffee. The suite has been thoughtfully put together with quality items; cute and rustic decor. I believe this suite would appeal too many.

These accommodations more than surpassed our expectations. Clean, organized, well equipped, beautiful and quiet setting. Close to awesome restaurants, scenic lookouts, hiking trails, and amazing beaches. The owner was very friendly and a great wealth of local knowledge.
