  • Large, Bright, Quiet House on Lake Muskoka

"Cottage and boathouse were well equipped. Loved that there was enough room for our extended family to spread out with each unit having their own bathroom. Main floor bedroom and bathroom had features like grab bars that made it easier for someone with mobility issues. Upper bedrooms were light very early in the mornings, and could have benefited from blinds. Having access to kayaks, a canoe and paddleboat was a bonus, and a fun way to explore the lake. Boathouse and deck could get very hot. Owners were quick to respond to any questions or issues. A fantastic place for our vacation."

"We just returned from 3 nights Thanksgiving weekend spent with friends in this beautiful Muskoka Lake cottage. What a nice place, clean and well maintained. This cottage is fully stocked with anything you need for comfortable stay. Just had to bring clothes, food and personal toiletries. Cozy interior, large bedrooms, comfortable beds. Great indoor fireplace, sunroom and large deck added a great touch as we spent all our time there. Too bad that weather wasn't great for the swimming, otherwise we would use nice beach. The grounds are very nice and clean. Fire pit and included firewood was great. Owner was friendly and well knowledgeable about local activities, attractions and surrounding areas. We loved it a lot and recommend this place for wonderful relaxing getaway! :)"

  • Perfect winter cottage

"This cottage is beautiful, the pictures don't do it justice. We had a large group and everyone was very comfortable. Philip is a very attentive and helpful landlord, answering all my questions and emails quickly. Our only issues were very minor, and he helped to resolve them immediately. We would love to go back and stay there again."

  • Great little cottage - a short drive from Toronto

"My fiancée and I stayed here for 3 nights in June 2016 and had a wonderful time! We chose it mainly due to the proximity to Toronto (about 2 hr drive). The cottage was very easy to get to and very quiet with the exception of the odd car coming down the road. The cottage itself was very clean and had pretty much everything you would need in case you forgot something. There is satellite tv, wifi, and a DVD player available so lots of options for indoor entertainment. The wifi wasn’t working for us but we didn’t mind as we didn’t go there to surf the net. We sat out on the deck and used the BBQ a lot. The fire pit was very convenient and offers some serenity in the evening. Bring your own firewood as none was provided. If you enjoy hiking, I recommend Hardy Lake Conservation Park which is about a 5 min drive west of the cottage (or 20 min walk). It has a 8km and a 3km trail. Bring your mosquito repellant and all the things you would need. There is a point on Hardy Lake where you can swim across so bring a waterproof bag if possible (we wish we did as it was 30 degrees and offers a shortcut back to the parking lot). We had a great time and the owners (Ted and Lesley) were very helpful and took the time to answer any questions we had. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway that isn’t too far of a drive, I would definitely recommend this cottage."
