  • A first class experience, recommend without hesitation

"We contacted the owners based upon the solid reviews we read on VRBO, and as usual the peer review process did not let us down. We've rented places around the world on airbnb and vrbo, and this is at the very top of the list. Communication was prompt, accurate, easy and friendly. Beyond that, actually. After messaging back and forth over and above that necessary to "complete the transaction", I never once felt that we were pestering or getting on anyone's nerves. Quite the opposite, in fact. Everything was as we expected (ie. wonderful) based on the pix and reviews. No hidden / negative surprises. And the place is just fantastic. The chalet itself, the cute piece of land it sits upon, the great beachfront they've built for accessing and enjoying the lake, all the associated toys (canoes, paddleboard, kayak, etc etc etc). I could go on and on but the bottom line is that we loved the place, would go again in a heartbeat, and really appreciated the warmth and ease of communication with the owners. If you have a chance to stay in this wonderful place, do not hesitate to do so!"

  • Back to Simplier Times

"My husband and I recently enjoyed a week at this chalet. The owner was very helpful in response to all our questions. The chalet is, as described, charming. We were cozy and warm sitting infront of the big stone fireplace in the livingroom. The kitchen is very well equipped and we ate in the bright diningroom looking out the big picture windows at the beautiful property. There was a BBQ and deck off the diningroom and I am sure it would be lovely to sit out there and look over the lake in the summer. We were at the chalet in the winter and took the opportunity to go downhill skiing in St. Sauveur and snowshoeing at the Centre de plein air St. Adolphe d'Howard. At the end of the week the weather was not too "cooperative" so we spent our time relaxing, working on puzzles, playing cards, reading books. As the title says, back to Simplier times. I am sure it would be a lovely spot, no mater what the season."

  • Amazing trip to Deer 6

"We had an awesome trip. Very relaxing. The chalet was beautiful and very clean overall. A big plus was the fireplace. Other chalets in the resort don't allow you to burn real wood, but not the case here. The owner was easy to get a hold of and prompt to respond. We're already planning our next trip to Moose 33."

  • Beautiful and Cozy

"My husband and I stayed at this beautiful, cozy and clean house just last week Jan 15th. It was a romantic get away and we couldn't have picked a better place. In the middle of nature but not far from amenities. Everything about it was perfect, from beginning to end. A bottle of wine was waiting for us when we got there, a big thank you to our hosts who we din't have the pleasure to meet but maybe next time as we are definetely going back sooner than later and hope to enjoy thew hot tub. All of our questions and concerns were answered. I did most of my corresponding with Chantal and she is such a nice person to correspond with especially when we didn't think we would be able to book it for personal reasons she offered a solution, which we appreciated very much. We have been to at least three other places and this is definetely our first choice from now on. We do recommend it 100%. Thank you very much. Thank you very much"
