  • Seven Palms, Eleuthera

"From the moment we drove up the Palm Tree lined road, we knew our visit was going to be incredible. My parents bought property on this island 50 years ago and have wanted to show us the property for years. We all decided to book a trip and began looking for a space large enough for 14 people. We opened the door to Seven Palms and immediately saw the turquoise blue water of the Atlantic. The 28+ acres were filled with palm trees blowing in the wind and we couldn't wait to get out to the beach, but first, we unpacked and headed to Tippy's for dinner and the sunset. This is the place to be for live music and fresh seafood on a Saturday night. Sunday was a day on our own private beach with miles of PINK sand and cloudless skies. Dinner Sunday night was at the beautiful 1648 with another picturesque sunset. Tuesday night we were treated to a wonderful Chef prepared dinner of Mahi Mahi and fresh veggies with local cheese cake. After a tour up the North end and Harbour Island, we planted ourselves on our private beach and watch all the cousins enjoying their time together. Seven Palms is a MUST for any family visiting Eleuthera!! Sharon French, the manager is the best and was so accommodating as well as George Major, our "go to" for cars and vans and especially Henrietta for keeping our house and linens clean each day. We miss her already as well as the views and the beach. I hope this review was helpful! I hope to be back some day."

"After looking through countless vacation rentals in various states, we decided that they were all the same old thing! Touristy and condos that were elegantly furnished, rules, regulations, same old beaches, over-priced excursions like boating, diving, etc. We already live on a beach! We were looking for something different, a place we have never been before that offers more of a peaceful, laid back, tranquil feel while boasting natural beauty and “real” people. We were also looking for a place to have an intimate yet beautiful wedding. We finally came across “Down by the Seaside” in Tarpum Bay on Eleuthera Island. I was captivated by the main picture of one of the most beautiful sunsets I have ever seen, so I began looking at all the pictures and reading the description. My fiancé and I both agreed that this seemed to be exactly what we were looking for. We started looking at all the other things to do and places to see on the Island, and found so many amazing places to see and hike…even caves! Above all!!! We found the perfect wedding spot at Lighthouse Beach. We arrived to see that the home that was absolutely as it was described. It was large enough for 2 families, but cozy enough for just the two of us. A long front porch with beautiful waterfront views and natural rock formations and AMAZING SUSNSETS! A nice private location tucked off the main road that giving you privacy and a true “home feel” Home has a large open living room/Dining room/ Kitchen with all the comforts of home “microwave, full size refrigerator, stove, ample cabinet space and all of the dishes and cooking items you would require. A spacious upstairs with 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, all were decorated in a very nice beachy décor, but not overdone, bathrooms were beautifully tiled with full tub/showers sinks and vanities. There was another side of the house that offered a “sitting room” with a TV/cable and a second full size refrigerator and bathroom. A very large collection of books, coloring books and games for children. Kayaks available for use at no cost…we put them in the water right in front the house. A Hammock situated between 2 trees with a spectacular view of the ocean and a wonderful breeze. Close to great restaurants and grocery stores. We were BEYOND satisfied! We recommend this vacation home to anyone looking for something a little more intimate and peaceful while still enjoying so many wonderful things to do."

  • Really enjoyed Bahama Villa

"Bahama Villa is located on my favorite beach in Eleuthera. Ten Bay beach has it all, a 1/2 mile pink sand beach, and a calm bay that is great for taking a dip or snorkeling. The house is elevated, and we enjoyed a constant breeze the whole week. The house needs a few updates ( better screens in the kitchen, and easier access to the water from the property), but overall is in good condition, and is quite comfortable for a couple. I would definitely recommend it for anyone who wants to have a laid back vacation in Eleuthera."
