  • Great condo right on the water

"I walked into the condo and looked straight through and saw the water. Absolutely beautiful. I was worried about the living room and kitchen not being air conditioned but with the sliders and front door open there was a great breeze. The air conditioners in the bedrooms were nice. My favorite part of the condo and even St.Croix was the lanai! I spent a lot of time on a rocking chair watching the colors of the water change. The Cove is perfect for swimming, warm and crystal clear. There is even a tire reef for snorkeling. I would highly recommend this condo for a stay in St. Croix!"

  • Convenience

"This was a perfect place for us to explore the island. A.C. broke day one and they fixed right away. Safe, had everything we needed and close to everything. It was not fancy, it was more like a home. We chose this to get more of an island feel than a resort feel. Only downsides are the view is obstructed, the road in front of the condo is in poor shape and the people that live there were not super friendly. All things that once you close the door are gone!"

  • Overall pleased with the condo and expectations were met

"Convenient location with its own beachfront. Nice views on the ocean side of the condo. On the third floor. All kitchen appliances worked with adequate utensils glassware and silverware. The large washer and drier came in handy. The wifi works well close to the hotspot, but does not reach throughout the condo. A very minor inconvenience. The real only negative was that the air conditioning does not reach the bedrooms. That does not matter so much on the oceans side of the condo, but led to some hot sticky nights on the other side of there is no significant cross ventilation. The back corner room with the queen size bed can get very hot. Also, that same room is quite bright at night due to a street lamp unfortunately located just outside the glass screen doors. I did not use the pool, but it looked very nice and clean. There were plenty of lounge chairs on the pool deck. The lockbox was always a struggle for me to use...but that may just be me! Best of all...the owner responded quickly to questions prior to arrival. Overall, we were pleased with our stay."

  • Idyllic week at Sugar Beach

"Having never been to the Caribbean before, I feel like the person who finds a pearl in their first oyster by choosing Theatre on the Beach for my virgin trip to Virgin Islands. After studying the photos for months and months the moment we opened the door to our condo was a moment of unnecessary trepidation- everything was exactly as pictured and my long period of beach fantasy became a reality. The condo is spacious, immaculate, and chock full of every amenity imaginable. We stocked the fridge at nearby Food Town and loaded up a cooler (provided!) for our trips to the beach- only steps away. The office staff and groundskeepers are so hospitable, and the pool is spotless perfection. Tearing ourselves away from the Theatre was difficult but we did manage a few excursions- shopping in Christiansted (about 10 minutes away by rental car from Judi's), kayaking with Bush Tribe, and an amazing sunset cruise with the fun folks from Big Beards. Enjoyed one long and fancy dinner at Savant for my 40th birthday- a meal I will remember forever- and stopped by Angry Nate's twice in one day because we couldn't imagine finding a better spot for drinks & apps. But back to our home-away-from.... I can't say enough good things about the incredible view, easy beach access, comfy beds & sofa, the kitchen- oh my gosh the kitchen- and the luxurious bathrooms. We wanted for nothing and the only bad part was returning to the Midwest. I absolutely fell in love with St. Croix and while islands abound in the area I would go back there in a heartbeat. It is very noncommercial, locals outweigh the tourists (at least in March!), and I felt completely comfortable and welcome everywhere we went. Leslie's attention to detail prior to our trip was phenomenal. Being inexperienced with the area she swiftly and kindly answered any questions I had. Her excitement and love for the island is obvious and catching. The only thing better than a return to the Theatre would be a Crucian home of my own! Overall I cannot recommend a trip to St. Croix enough- but please don't tell anyone else- I dearly hope the island remains a gem for people who value relaxation over hustle and bustle. If you want to set your watch to island time plan a trip forthwith- why not??"
