  • Amazing property! Fantastic hosts!

"Little Lagoon was the perfect place for us and our longtime friends to spend a week! We rented both units. We prefer a kick-back type of vacation in a rustic/rural location right on the beach. Little Lagoon filled our needs and exceeded our expectations! What we hadn't fully realized is how wonderful it is to have the perfect hosts living right upstairs. Donna and Ernest never interfered with our lives, but would magically appear at polite times of the morning or late afternoon and inquire about our day's activities, offering suggestions as needed. The quiet house is beautifully appointed, with excellent beds and a full kitchen. We were surprised to find it was never uncomfortably warm, with only the ceiling fans occasionally running. Everything is top notch and we're looking forward to returning in the near future."

  • A really special place!

"1/22/17 Dear Mary Lou and Larry, We are reluctantly leaving your incredible Moonglow cottage and St. John today. The time and thought invested in Moonglow expresses quality, style, and beauty. Our visit has been an unexpected treasure that we thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you both and thanks to the Audubon Society of Rhode Island for making this possible. Bob was very helpful when we had a snorkel malfunction. Sandra and Fred Rhode Island"

  • An escape to paradise and adventure

"The Teahouse Treehouse is everything the pictures show and more. There is nothing I would have changed and everything only exceeded expectations. It was great getting to know our neighbors during the week as well: There was Suzy, who had to be the queen of the hermit crabs since she was the size of a softball and we found her milling about outside both upstairs and down; there was Tom and Jerry, two very curious birds who said hello every morning,; the air squadron as we called them, the half dozen or so hummingbirds that buzzed past us every day; the all Coral Bay Choir, aka the tree frogs that sung us to sleep and woke with us every morning and lastly the multiple species of lizards we would see on our way to the hot tub. That all said, if nature is not your thing, you may want to look elsewhere. Bob who manages the property could not have been more helpful. He came to our rescue the first day when we experienced a flat tire and was available for advice, recommendations and guidance when ever we reached out to him. Whether you are familiar or new to the island Bob is great to have as a resource. What I learned staying in the Treehouse. I have never had so little space, (though more than adequate), I have never had so little stuff (again, more than adequate) and staying in the treehouse with the love of my life I never felt like I had more."

  • We plan to be back!

"We spent 8 glorious nights at La Sirena. This was our 2nd second trip to Coral Bay and the 2nd with Cimmarron St. John as well. Our first stay was on top of Ajax Peak and we decided we wanted to be closer to the water for this visit. At first, we were a little concerned being so far out from Coral Bay, but once we got to the villa, all of our concerns were alleviated. The layout of the villa is perfect. It was just me and my husband in this large villa so we stayed in one of the masters on the lower level, and used the other lower master that has the washer/dryer as our changing room. We did not sleep in the loft although it looked like generous space for a couple as well (note, you do have to climb steep ladder stairs to loft). The kitchen had extensive cooking/eating utensils, 4 burner gas stove, oven, toaster oven, toaster, microwave, blender. The main living space is comfortable and roomy, although we were rarely inside. The full bath on the main living area is large and you can see Kiddel Bay from the window. The master bath in the lower room closest to the driveway is also very large while the other lower master with the al fresco shower is a fun addition! The pool patio and cabana is where we spent most of our time at the house. What a nice treat to have the pool to cool off in after a day of hiking, snorkeling, or shopping (we did wish the pool was saltwater instead of chlorine). We cooked 7 of 8 nights at the villa, using the grill in the cabana most nights. The home is very private, even though there is one home close by, both homes are secluded by thoughtful placement and natural foliage. You don't have to worry about what you look like in your swimsuit ;) If you turn out all of the outside lights on a clear night, you won't believe the amount of stars you'll see! Things you should be aware of if you have never been to Coral Bay: this is not a resort town, there aren't flashing lights and dance clubs. Go to St. Thomas or elsewhere for that. You must have 4-wheel, the drive to the villa isnt for the faint of heart! There is no A/C however, there are floor and ceiling fans in ALL bedrooms, screen doors, and lots of island breezes to keep you plenty cool. The island relies on rainwater so be mindful when washing dishes, flushing toilets, and taking showers. You're in the tropics; bring mosquito repellant and sunscreen. Most of all, enjoy the peaceful surroundings in this exquisite villa that is truly off the beaten path!"
