  • Condo was the perfect fit for two couples. Great location, very clean, everything we hoped for

"This condo is in a great location, clean and very well maintaineded inside and out. The views from the balcony and the beach are stunning. Everything we needed for the beach, cooking and entertained was available and we enjoyed cooking on the gas grill. There was easy access for booking many different excursions and the ferry to St. John's. The town of Red Hooks is 2 minutes away and provides, fine food, bars, groceries and much more. We highly recommend the condo and Lisa (owner) did a wonderful job of providing everything we needed. She responds to any request very quickly, yet allows complete privacy. We had and incredible vacation and we would rent from Lisa again if we every return to the area."

  • Clean, comfortable beach resort

"We were pleased with our stay overall. The unit was clean and there were new dishes, silverware and coffeepot. Plenty of towels when requested, although there is only one room service per week (timeshare model). Two nights in a row there was a very rowdy, noisy group next to us, but when we told the staff they said to call security if it happened again and they would take care of it. Thankfully that group left. The beach was in a lovely spot, but could have been a bit cleaner. One day after a big washup of seaweed it took two men with rakes and a small vehicle all day to clean up the beachfront. Seems they should invest in some better equipment to do the job every day and faster. The restaurants were very nice, especially the fine dining one. We were disappointed that the sundry shop was "closed" (It said it was closed for the summer and would reopen Oct 1; this was the first week in November, so we joked that it was REALLY island time!) It meant that you couldn't buy things on the grounds such as bottled water, juices, snacks, and toiletries. However, the staff was very generous in handing out whatever they had of the hotel sundries free of charge (shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee, etc.) Transportation was readily available and the staff was great....friendly, welcoming, helpful."

  • Paradise!

"Let me begin by saying that our expectations were one thing, but the reality was fabulous! The view from our "home away from home" for 11 days was like a poster or a wonderful painting of the blue skies and far away islands with a wonderful beach within steps from our "borrowed" home. Our screen doors leading out to the balcony from our room were never closed as the sea breezes were fantastic and the sounds put us to sleep each night. Sherri, the owner of this wonderful condo in Cowpet Bay West on Leeward has this unit well furnished, clean and it is a quiet haven. We would not hesitate to recommend this condo to anyone who is looking for a retreat on a quiet beach, fun beach bar and 2 restaurants that serve lovely lunches at one and fine dining at the other. We met Sherri as we arrived and she was so helpful helping to put our small amount of necessities in the refrigerator and then again when she came to refresh bed linens, towels, throw rugs, etc. What we truly loved about this place, other than it being beach front, was the fact that she was on property should we need anything and also the fact that it was so clean as she changes the shower curtains, bed coverings, etc. in between each renter. That gave us a sense of security that we could, without any worries, know that when we put my head on the pillow each night it was going to be like home! Thank you Sherri for making our stay a memorable one!"

  • Return to Paradise

"Stayed at Cowpet Bay about 30 years ago. Decided to come back. Sophia's condo was perfect for what we needed. Bed was very comfortable. Condo had a Microwave, toaster oven, fridge, and dish TV. There were plenty of beach and bath towels. Two minute walk to a beautiful beach. No matter what time we went to the beach there was always plenty of lounge chairs in either sun or shade. Several restaurants on site plus by the pool was a bar and food cooked on a grill. Prices were very reasonable. Loved the area of the island. ton of things to do in Red Hook. Took boat tour to Virgin Gorda and Yost Van Dyke. Sophia's price was very reasonable and allows you to spend more on fun things. Would recommend this rental to anyone who wants to stay in Paradise for an affordable price."
