  • Nice stay

"My family just stayed for a week. The condo is very nice (as advertised). The location is excellent. The owner (Greg) was very responsive to our questions. Overall, a wonderful stay. Would definitely recommend."

  • Repeat Visitor

"I have stayed here before and will keep coming back as the Johansens really know how to make a guest feel welcome! I came with 2 girlfriends (3 in total) and it was perfect for us. The place is conveniently located near some beautiful beaches that we got to explore...Secret Harbour and Sapphire beach are only a short drive away. It is also steps away from a beach right in front of the property equipped with a gym, tennis courts and restaurant options. One night we went into St. John and again, this condo is very close to the ferry so it was a breeze to island hop! Thanks for making our vacation perfect!"

  • Cowpet Bay West Condo

"We loved our stay in Carla's beautiful condo. The beds were super comfortable and the furnishings were great. Loved the architectural details of the building with the arched doors and the big solid bedroom doors. The balcony was super big with the best view. We had a wonderful dinner on the balcony one evening. Did not get to use the bbq grill but would have loved to grill out if we had the time. Marcella the housekeeper was very friendly and accomodating as well. The restaurants in the complex were awesome. The grocery store in Redhook had everything you could want probably twice the cost of the US though. There was another food store west on 32 heading to the airport that I heard was less expensive. The grounds were beautiful the only drawback is they don't have privileges to the pool at the Elysian although our sister was staying there so we piggybacked into the pool with her key. Great pool bar and the bartender David was very informative. The ferry to St John was convenient and well worth the price to visit the island. We took the car ferry and the only caveat is returning you may have to wait since the ferry gets busy at around 4 pm. Would highly recommend Carla's condo and she was very responsive by email if we had any questions, we would love to return if we have the opportunity."

"Best Vacation is what my son-in-law declared as we waited for our departing flight! It is clear that the owner, John, is attentive to the property and to his guests. You don't always find that!! This property has received a number of superb reviews and it is difficult to think of unique things to add. The condo is well sized for 6 adults allowing for personal space along with communal living. The dining table easily accommodates 6 people. The appliances, washer, dryer, dishwasher, frig, stove, microwave are all new and the kitchen had everything we needed including a blender for those frozen concoctions. Bedrooms are off the central area and are spacious with king beds and private bathrooms. There are plenty of linens. Early birds can watch the sun rise from the patio. The beach, pool etc., are all well maintained, not crowded and very low key. Yes, the sauna is back up and running. We rented a car which provided great freedom for our coming and going. Driving on the left was not a problem, simply go slow. We ventured off to Cokie and Sapphire beaches, golf at Mahogony Run and the shopping district in Charlotte Amalie. We also took the car to St. John's which was cost effective given we had 6 adults $54 vs. $14pp. We enjoyed eating at the Caribbean Fish Market (on property), the Sunset Grill (just down the road), Fish Tails & Tap and Still in Red Hook (the latter when you need a good burger and fries served in paper bags, as well as local color). We'd definitely return to this condo and St Thomas."
