  • Amazing two week stay at Seaglass!

"The two weeks we stayed at the Seaglass apartment at Stonehouse was absolutely perfect! Joanie and Richard are fantastic host. What beautiful panoramic view of Secret Harbor and the Caribbean Sea. The open air feel with the cool sea breezes only enhance the Caribbean ambiance of this beautiful place. The location is perfect to venture out to the great St Thomas beaches and being only a couple of miles from the Redhook Port / Harbor provide easy water taxi access to St. John, Tortola, and Jost Van Dyke. Lindquist Beach on St Thomas is about 3 miles away is one of the prettiest beaches we have ever seen. The beach chairs, snorkel gear, and cooler provided made our day trips great as we could pack our lunches and libations and never leave beach! Seaglass was spotless and had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped with everything needed to prepare meals. The bedroom is air conditioned and on the warmer nights was very nice even though we preferred to use the great breezes that flowed through the house whenever we could. The furnishings are Caribbean, airy and very comfortable. Top quality linens make a very comfortable bed. The bathroom is perfect for two persons with an ample supply of towels, etc. We are not folks who watch TV; however, there is a DVD player and cable TV. Wi-Fi is fast and reliable. We used the Altec Lansing sound system just about continuously during our stay listen to our music collection. The most amazing aspect is there is a hammock in the living area where you can relax and look out over the beautiful vista of the sea. We will be back! The Cooleys Greenwood, South Carolina"

  • Excellent Location!

"Just returned from a four night stay at Crystal Cove and staying at Peggy and Bills place. I have to say, I am always worried or concerned when renting a place, but this condo is exactly what is says. Its clean, comfortable and the best location on a beautiful beach(literally only steps away). Sapphire Beach is a very beautiful beach, with water that has the most amazing shades of blue. The water is very calm, and their is great snorkeling there as well. We saw stingrays, loads of fish, and even a baby sand shark! As for the condo, it is exactly what is pictured in photos. The beds were comfortable, even the murphy beds, which surprised me...my kids fought over who slept on them, lol. Kitchen was clean and had every item you could possibly need. And three full bathrooms, was definitely a plus. I imagine the condos were built in the 60s. so somethings are outdated, but we were here for the beach, which did not disappoint. Peggy was a pleasure to deal with. Spoke on phone with her, and gave me plenty of suggestions on where to shop, eat, and how to get around. Her daughter also prepurchased groceries for us which was very convenient. Paid a small fee, but definitely was worth it to have the basics waiting for us. Food is expensive so I would try to pack some things that you can. Overall the trip was excellent. Condo was clean and comfortable, which is my top priority. We will definitely be coming back, and staying here again if they will have us! Thanks Peggy and BIll"

  • Home away from home for the holiday was perfect.

"Our 2015 Christmas in a white castle on Water Island provided plenty of “white” that we hardly missed our Minnesota snow at all—from the white towels and bedding to the white sandy beach of Honeymoon Bay! Our entire family of 16, including: young grandchildren, teen cousins, adult siblings, spouses, and grandparents enjoyed our close to 2-week stay and all of the memories made. Activities together were plenty--patio card games, pool floating, sunbathing, beach relaxing, fishing, cooking fresh caught fish, Dinghy’s events, horseshoes with the locals, karaoke, snorkeling, swimming by sea turtles, hermit crabs, TV movies, Vikings football, ferry rides, touring Water Island on golf carts and touring St. Thomas with the $1 shuttle rides. The morning view of sailboats in blue water and the evening view of white twinkling St. Thomas lights were spectacular. And the short rain showers brought double rainbows. Crown Bay Marina on St. Thomas by the ferry has a really good ice cream shop, Tickles pub, souvenir shops, and groceries. (A tip to save grocery trips: We had planned some meals ahead and brought extra suitcases with items like: frozen meats, salami, cheese, trail mixes, and boxed wine.) The Gourmet grocery store by the ferry had anything else we needed. We did go through many tortilla wraps, bagels, and snack crackers. Dinners at Dinghy’s were delightful too, including the Lionfish and their French fries. Home away from home for the holiday was perfect. Thanks Lisa for offering such a great vacation palace on a fun little island!"
