  • Do you need to really relax and unplug from your fast-paced world? This is your place!

"It has been just shy of two weeks since we left Casas Blancas and I really want to go back tomorrow. The house had everything a family needs but the outdoor spaces are what really made the stay special. That pool with he swim up bar (the kids will get a kick out of being your bartender), the large palapa with a dining table, seating area and the 4-5 hammocks will call your name. The palapa also has a wet bar with electricity and a fridge. Poolside pina coladas anyone? Yes, please! You feel like you have your own little private slice of paradise because you do. We ventured out to the beach one day but decided the property was just so wonderful that we stayed there to soak up the sun on the second and third days. When you return from the beach, you can shower under one of the 3 outdoor showers so not to track the sand into the house. There are two rental houses on the property so you are sharing the outdoor spaces. We loved becoming acquainted with the other family. The house has a fully functional kitchen. No dishwasher but we had plenty of hands to lighten the work. There is a washer and dryer but being that they are on bottled gas, use the clothes line! The sun and wind are free. As described in the renters' packet, the power did go out for about 1 1/2 hours one morning. This is not a Casas Blancas thing but a Panama thing. Just roll with it - hammocks require no electricity. A full-sized fridge, 6-burner gas stove and several charcoal grills on the property for meals to be eaten al fresco under the palapa. We did not really seek out places to go to dinner or nightlife of any kind. There are plenty of places to go out to eat but I don't think there is much night life in the area. Not much of a need for resort wear or even a hair dryer. Plan on living in your swimsuit, shorts, flip flops, a hat and sunglasses. The Wi-Fi works but is slower than what we have at home. You'll have connection but probably not be streaming any movies. This was not an issue for us but people with little kids may want to know. We had to book on short notice so the regular caretakers were out of the country. We still had prompt email communication with them even though they were on their own vacation. The caretaker on site was a really terrific teenage kid named Alejandro. He has limited English and we have limited Spanish but he was very intuitive and brought us things we needed with out us even asking. Go! Relax! Enjoy!"

  • What a lovely place!

"This review is a little late (we visited in July 2016) and actually for a different unit than this one. We stayed on the floor above in the recently finished "Honeymoon Suite". And it was way above expectations! The suite took up half of that floor with panoramic views of the ocean from wrap-around floor to ceiling windows. King size bed, large flat screen TV, full kitchen with granite countertops, beautifully appointed bath also with granite countertops and an outdoor shower on the balcony with amazing ocean views. The whole suite has the WOW factor! The white sand beach goes forever in both directions and for four days it was only us and a neighbor's dog walking on the beach. On the weekend a few (very few) locals came out to swim. There are alot of underwater rocks that are visible at low tide so the swimming is better up the beach a little ways. But beachcombing for shells and the array of wildlife in the tidal pools is awesome. Sunsets from the balcony were beautiful. Transfer from and back to the airport is available and recommended unless you have experience navigating the traffic in Panama City. After that a rental car from the agency in Coronado is also recommended. There is no close by restaurant but there is a well stocked supermarket in Coronado and several good restaurants in the vicinity. We enjoyed two seaside restaurants on two different beaches as well as a seafood restaurant on the main highway. I also recommend the short drive inland to El Valle. An Italian restaurant there, El Bruschetta, is excellent. Information on all this is thoughtfully given when you make a reservation. We absolutely loved staying at Suites on the Beach and highly recommend the accommodations, the locale & scenery, the ease of booking, and the hospitality shown us."

  • Wonderful property, highly recommened!

"Just a short note to tell you how much our entire family enjoyed our time at your Coronado property. It was lovely! The casitas' furnishing and finishes were beautiful inside and out, as were the grounds, plantings and amenities. Late July was the perfect time of year to enjoy your gorgeous gardens of flowering shrubs and plants, palms and trees everywhere, especially the fruiting purple mango! Could not have been better. The new, green grass was soft and inviting underfoot, especially for our barefoot 18 month old grandson. Rain was minimal and AC was very efficient when we needed it it...but we preferred our time outdoors under the fans in the roofed pavillions, in the pool, and BBQing with our new Panamanian family--yours was a super place for our gatherings. The sparking black sand of Coronado beach really gave meaning to the phrase 'Diamonds on the soles of your shoes." :-) Many thanks, Joan"

  • Wonderful accommodations in Playa Coronado

"The condo was superb; clean, comfortable and equipped with everything you could possibly need and more. Linda thought of everything and is clearly very organized! The manager Tammy was outstanding and helpful. The building itself and pools were clean and well-maintained. Access to the beautiful beach was easy. Would recommend Linda's condo without hesitation!"
