  • Exceeded our expectations

"We stayed at Orchid Cottage for four nights over the New Year holiday and found it to be extremely comfortable, well fitted, warm and homely, with a beautiful garden and patio area which would be a great asset in the summer months. The cottage is obviously well loved and cared for by the owners, who we found to be most helpful. The cottage is situated in a quiet location, but close to all amenities with two pubs within walking distance, both offering good food. We would have no hesitation in recomending this property"

  • Great little hideaway

"Even though on a very busy street we were very pleasantly surprised when we went through to the Garden Studio, a quiet haven in a very large garden, totally different from the front! Everything you needed was there!"

  • A little gem.

"Cottage was cozy and clean. It had everything you could possibly need. A lovely touch were the few basic groceries left fors and the bottle of wine and chocolates. Thank you. The cottage was in an excellent location. Walking distance to shops pubs and restaurants. Parking a bit of a pain, but long stay cheap carpark not far."

  • Pure Farmhouse Charm

"We had a wonderful stay at Sarah and Andy's place. We were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and welcoming conversation. The guest cottage is new and fresh and decorated with darling farmhouse style, and furnished with modern appliances and plumbing fixtures. Sarah laid out so many nice things to meet all your needs, like the usual shampoos and soaps, but also cotton balls, toothpaste, a loofa, and more, in the bathroom. And she provided farm fresh eggs, veggies, breakfast meats, milk, cereal, butter, coffee, tea, jams, and more in the fully stocked kitchen. We were able to take walks across the pasture and look at the beautiful view across the countryside, play with the yellow lab who loves to fetch, and pick apples from the apple tree. The place is out in the country, but there are many small picturesque villages nearby to explore and have dinner in. And you should schedule some extra time on your drive from London to stop at Stonehenge along the way, or just view it from the road as you drive by!"
