  • Great apartment

"This was a great apartment in a wonderful location. Never having visited this area before it was great to explore for the few days we were there. The apartment was excellent. Very clean, homely and with everything we needed for our stay."

  • Excellent facilities and perfect location

"Had a very enjoyable stay in Tilly's cottage. Location was perfect for either a walk into Bridport, West Bay, or for the coastal path walks. It was a quiet village location but with easy access to a large supermarket and petrol station. The south facing courtyard garden was perfect to sit and relax and catch the sun at any time of day. Communications with Claire were easy and helpful and the security deposit was refunded in good time. Thank you for the tea/coffee/milk on arrival - it was a lovely touch and a lifesaver after a long journey combined with a day of sightseeing before arriving!"

  • Quiet cottage close to the town

"Quiet comfortable cottage close to the town of Bridport, so quick to reach bars & restaurants on foot. Also no through road into the main street so virtually no traffic, just pedestrians passing. Weather was cold & wet so the warmth & cosiness of the cottage was much-appreciated by us and our small dog, who also enjoyed exploring the garden & barking at passers-by from the front window! Sitting- room & main bedroom were a little shabbier than expected, but comfortable enough. Several good restaturants nearby - Olive Tree at end of street, Taj Mahal on main street & the highlight, Station Kitchen in West Bay, a converted hospital railway carriage in the old railway station - quality of food & drink & atmosphere are fabulous, although not cheap. Bridport Arts Centre has regular events - we saw live opera streamed from the New York Metropolitan Opera one evening - a real treat & affordable. All in all, a warm, comfortable cottage close to coastal walks, restaurants, Lyme Regis, Weymouth etc. Recommended."
