  • Perfect in Every Way!

"Six female senior citizens spent one week (not nearly enough) here in early June. The villa exceeded our expectations. We had three bedrooms, each with its own bath, utility room, kitchen, large dining/living room. We never used the dining table because we ate every meal outside. The weather was wonderful. The house was immaculate as was the pool area and surroundings. Every morning we had fresh croissants and bread from the bakery(less than five minutes away). The care takers were beyond helpful. They gave us lots of help with planning our excursions and made our stay perfect. This villa would be wonderful for anyone (except possibly someone with small children because of the nearness of the pool). I highly recommend this location and hope to go back one day. • Much loved summer holiday 2016

"We are a family of 10 who stayed for 2 weeks in august 2016 for a relaxing summer break. Beverly was so very helpful from the initial enquiry to keeping in touch during our stay to ensure everything was well and we were happy with everything. The cleaners Isabelle and her daughter are very thorough and cleaned the house to a level that was beyond my expectation. The house itself is beautiful, with lots of charm and character. Theres a lot of inside and outside space for a family of 10. It was a real bonus having the pool house with the pool kitchen and the bbq so close to the swimming pool, sun loungers, large outside eating area. It was perfect for us to prepare and cook food whilst all being together by the pool area. The villa is in a beautiful spot which is highlighted by the views over the valley below, which seems ever changing with the lighting. If your up earlier enough there is a hot air balloon which you can watch take flight from the valley bellow every day at around 7am. There is plenty of space for everyone to be together or find some piece and quiet away from the crowds. The pool was heated and a real hit with everyone of all ages, the electric cover was great at keeping the heat in the pool during the night. Location wise was spot on, with an easy walk into the village for bread etc. 15 mins to a large supermarket, 10 mins to the beautiful Gordes and 20 mins to the town Apt as well as other large supermarkets. We would recommend for anyone looking for a lovely villa, with a gorgeous pool, with views of the surrounding areas, which is clean and in good order for a relaxed holiday in a beautiful location."

  • Feels like home

"It didn't take long for our family to settle in to the house. From day one, it felt like our home away from home. After a day spent exploring one of the beautiful local towns, it was an absolute joy to return home to Le Chemin Des Reves for our afternoon ritual - a dip in the cool water of the beautiful pool, followed by a glass of delicious local wine, and an assortment of local cheeses, fruits (including figs picked from trees right on the property!), and fresh baked breads. All while taking in the spectacular view that photographs simply cannot fully capture. The owners Gary and Cathy have done a wonderful job with the house and the property - everything so tastefully done, yet unbelievably comfortable and with all of the conveniences that helped to make our stay so relaxing. An unbelievably well-appointed kitchen - cooking meals was a joy - and a conveniently located laundry room are just two of the highlights of the conveniences of home that we enjoyed. My son absolutely loved exploring the grounds! Almost daily we would walk along the stone walls, wander through the olive grove, and enjoy deep breaths in the beautiful, fragrant lavender field. Beverly was a fabulous resource for us the entire time - she was always available to guide us regarding towns and villages to visit, restaurants, local markets, and more - down to the smallest detail. Not only was she a great resource, but she couldn't be a nicer person! In fact, by the time we left, we felt as though we had made new friends in Beverly and her daughter Sam. My only hesitation in awarding five stars to the property and writing such a positive review is that there is a part of me that wants to keep Le Chemin Des Reves as our family's little secret! At the end of the day, though, I feel better sharing and hope other families can enjoy as wonderful an experience as we had."
