  • A dream come true!

"My husband and I celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary at The Nest House. We stayed for 9 days and fell in love with the view, the people of Santorini and the food! It had been my dream since I was a young girl to visit this magical place that I had seen in a photo. Little did I know that I would be staying in a cave house just steps away from that infamous picture. Nanetta was lovely and a perfect host. I will dream about this place for years to come!"

  • Stunning view, peaceful location

"We never tired of the view from the house and terraces, including the sun setting into the sea on the horizon. There is an amazing tiny chapel, built into the hillside, three minutes walk from the house down to the sea, which we didn't even know about until we arrived. The rock pools will keep children and adults amused for hours, and there is a pebble beach a very short drive away, though the wonderful beach at Elafonissi, 40 minutes drive away, is the place to go. The beaches of Falassarna are also within easy reach. The scenery is spectacular, wherever you go. The house has everything you need, though the nearest large supermarket is a 45-minute drive away at Kissamos, so make sure you get stocked up before arriving. We never visited the taverna, which is less than five minutes walk away, as we were happy to chill out on the terrace every night with our own food. The owner, Birgitta, who lives nearby, was friendly and helpful from the moment we made our first enquiry. She was a pleasure to deal with. We would definitely visit again, though probably not in the height of summer - we were there in mid-June and it was starting to get very hot - as the house doesn't have air-conditioning and there are no screens on the doors and windows, so leaving them open can let in flies and mosquitoes. We didn't get a single bite, as we closed all the doors and windows at night. A few more fans would be a good idea! There are two holiday villas, joined together, about 100 metres away, both of which have pools, so you might see and hear other holidaymakers, but when we were there they were not occupied. Overall, I would highly recommend this villa to anyone who wants to get away from it all."

  • Nice stay at SeaWest

"The villa is in very good condition and had plenty of space for our needs. It is conveniently located close to Ornos and Mykonos Town giving many choices for afternoon or evening outings. The owner was always available to answer any queries we had or offer recommendations of where to go, etc."

  • A villa to recommend!

"This villa was absolutely perfect for my family. The home was spacious and was equipped with everything and more. All of the bedrooms were perfect! The property is well maintained and very clean. The rooms are spacious with amazing sea view. We loved the outdoor shower of the master bedroom with the cliff hanging just above your head! I have already missed my daily shower there! This villa is exclusively made for those seeking for quiet, away from it all! The nature is impossible to be described... I recommend this villa rental to families who would like to spend some quality time with their children, family reunions and why not... honeymooners!"
