  • Best in County Clare

""The best things in life are the people you love, the places you've seen and the memories you've made along the way!" Margaret and Michael have created a beautiful private oasis upon the Cliffs of Moher with spectacular views from all the gorgeous windows. Low Meadow is appointed beyond that of a five star hotel and yet invokes the coziness of staying in one's own home. Every single review we had read before booking was dead on and yet it was even more wonderful in person. As a family of 6 we spent 4 nights surrounded by the people we love; experienced the cliffs, the nightlife in Doolin, Galway and the most delicious birthday dinner at the Stonecutter's Kitchen (just up the road from the house); enjoyed games by the fire, a super kitchen to make breakfasts, and at night laid our heads upon large, comfortable beds with beautiful linens. But the true gems of this home is its owners, Margaret and Michael! We all wanted them to adopt us as family! We regularly use vacation rentals instead of hotels and would say that Low Meadow has certainly been one of the top properties in which we have stayed. We created a lot of memories during our two week trip to Ireland, but its unanimous that our stay at Low Meadow was the highlight! Thank you Margaret and Michael! May your lives continue to be blessed as you have blessed our family with the beauty of Ireland!"

  • Big and modern House with amazing sea-view

"It was just perfect. The House is very big, clean and generous. Especially the kitchen is a room for the whole family either to cook or to chat. From nearly every room you can enjoy the beautiful sea-view which really gives you a holiday-feeling. The house is also well equipped with everything you need and the landlord is very nice and helpful. In the surrounding you find the amazing Cliffs of Moher (which are really just around the corner) or you can enjoy one of the beautiful beaches (either Spanish Point or Fanore). There are many things to do and to see and which are really near the House. We can highly recommend a stay in this beautiful house because we immediately felt at home and welcomed."

  • A great value walking distance to Lahinch

"Here for golf trip. Home was very easy to find, charming neighborhood, very convenient walk to town. About $50USD less than a 2BR suite at the Golf and Leisure Hotel per night. You don't have to share a bedroom with your friend and listen to him snore. It is about a 10 minute walk to the golf course. Great for a family, 2 couples, or 4 golfers"

  • beautiful week centrally located

"We ended a great week at this nicely appointed cottage that was clean and had plenty of space for my husband and self , teenage son and mother. The town, a quick walk for a pint at the end of a great day of sightseeing, had everything you need pubs, restaurants and a large grocery store. It is also just a short drive (or bike ride) to the coast and wild atlantic way or into the Burren. We used it as an easy base for a trip to Galway the Cliffs of Moher, the Burren, Portumna and Logh Derg as all the drives were beautiful in themselves. The cottage owners are on the premises and were both helpful and unobtrusive offering us assistance if needed. I would definitely recommend this cottage for a family or two couples looking for a great base to explore the area."
