  • Luca is a fantastic host and Catania has a gritty charm!

"The flat is centrally located and super cute! Luca went out of his way to let us check in early and gave us great suggestions for restaurants in the area. Luca was available to answer any of our questions and helped us book an Etna tour. If we ever make it back to Catania we will definitely stay at Luca's flat again!"

  • A hidden treasure... Catania and Belle-Etages

"It's a shame travellers bypass Catania on the frequent Taormina to Syracuse route because there is so much to see and experience. If you do come, stay with Anna at her Belle-Etages apartment for a true Catanese palazzo experience. Turn left when exiting the apartment and within a minute you're in Piazza Bellini standing outside the opera house; turn right and again, in a minute you're in the main square, Piazza Duomo, a car-free Baroque beauty. From the nearby (5 minutes walk) bus stop it's possible to visit many neighbouring towns and beaches simply and cheaply. Anna know so much about her city and generously shares her insider tips. Do visit the cathedral's terraces for the best city and Mt Etna views, have a coffee in the sun near the city's emblematic elephant statue, eat fish or pasta Norma at the authentic market restaurants nearby, stroll to the Bellini Gardens and wander the impressive Greek and Roman ruins. Returning home after being part of this bustling city, you'll find a sumptuous quiet apartment with large rooms, high ceilings, antiques and cultural artefacts, a sunny terrace and a kitchen which will make you want to head to the market for supplies, just so you can dine in style. This was our first visit to Catania, but it won't be our last."

  • Fabulous - Orange Apartment

"Have just returned from our two week stay in Catania City Flats Orange Apartment with my husband and two teenagers (17 and 16). What can I say except that this is a 5 star apartment and it suited us very well. Everything was there that we needed, Balcony, safe, Washing Machine (which meant we could travel light), all kitchen equipment, towels, etc and was as per the pictures (actually better than the pictures). Fridge was stocked with water, juice, and a huge big fruitbowl full to the brim and a dish of local sweets and cakes. We had no issues with anything in the apartment while we were there. Wifi was great and that as declared from the teenagers! Best they have had while away. Apartment was spotless and we were shown where everything was by Salvo and Giovanna. Salvo took a lot of time with us to show us the local shops etc which was a great help. Everything was very near and we liked the fact that they were all small individual shops. Giovanna helped us with transfers to and from the airport and to Toarmina. (Thank You Giovanna) I have to say that Mariella and Salvo go the extra mile to help you and were exceptional hosts (10 Stars) and were very kind and considerate of us and looked after us extremely well. Nothing was any trouble. In fact we were very sad to leave. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Catania."

  • Very Spacious! Perfectly Located!

"A very spacious apartment and literally a few minutes walk away from everything! We were greated by Delfo, the owner who was lovely and welcoming, he even took us to show where the local supermarket was! The apartment is very traditionally Italian and rustic. The bathroom has a good, modern washing machine. The bedroom has two large wardrobes and a large chest of drawers. Great to look outside and view the bustling city and market. There are also local supermarkets everywhere but the biggest is opposite the botanical gardens. Very pleased with everything but the wi-if was quite intermittent, which can be quite frustrating and the outside courtyard could do with a spruce up. But overall excellent value for money!"
