  • We had an unforgettable family holiday in a wonderful location.

"Wake up in the morning, fling open the shutters, and drink in the views over the Chianti countryside... cypress trees, olive groves and vineyards surrounding old stone farmhouses. Eat grapes and melon and peaches for breakfast on the huge terrace. Swim in the large pool, play hide and seek and football in the garden. Then drive along tiny winding roads to one of the ancient hill villages like Panzano, and visit the market. Or, feeling more ambitious, drive to San Gimignano and climb the towers, or to Siena and visit the Cathedrals, and eat lunch in the huge piazza. Supper at Lamole, a tiny village where the children will be welcomed with open arms, and the home grown food is to die for. Temperature in July was between 32 and 36 degrees Celsius... But the thick stone walls of the house, plus the shutters, kept it reasonably cool at night. Some mosquitoes and wasps but manageable. And of course, go wine tasting. Try vineyard, restaurant and garden of Vignamagg"

  • Lovely Villa in the Heart of Florence

"Wonderful flat just around the corner from Santa Croce welcomed our family of six with an authentic Tuscan flare. The apartment was very comfortable for our family and would have easily accommodate another 3 or 4 with ease. We truly enjoyed relaxing in the kitchen as a cool breeze passed through the windows. Three bedrooms were large and comfortable and would be great for a longer term stay as the closet space was abundant. Two bedrooms on the first/main level and a third - along with a bit of "bonus" space were located up a short flight of stairs. Apartment had a washing machine but note the "clothes dryer" is not what my fellow American travelers might expect - it's more of a clothes line rack, and not a tumble dryer of gas/electric. Not a problem on a warm breezy week in August, but worth noting. Location is great and nearly all of the main sights and attractions of Florence are within an easy walk as are grocery stores and an ample selection of restaurants and bars. The apartment is located in an active neighborhood, but once the windows were closed and the AC switched on, it was quiet, cool, and comfortable for sleeping. We found it easy to stroll the small mostly car free streets of Florence, yet an informal taxi stand 100 yards/meters from the apartment was convenient on departure - train station was about a 15 Euro ride with luggage and 4 passengers. We used the concierge service to organize transfers on arrival along with a tour of the surrounding area and once it was time for check-in our driver phoned ahead and we met the representative who showed us around. We had a bit of an issue with hot water - the boiler had been switched off between guests - and a quick e-mail resolved the issue as the friendly representative came by and had us sorted in no time. We would stay again and recommend the apartment and the property management firm with confidence."

Urlaub pur !"

  • Relaxing and idillic

"The barn is unbelievably beautiful. It is located in an idillic environment of tipical Tuscan landscape. We really enjoyed spending our holiday there. The inside of the barn is furnished very nice and we loved the Very well equipped kitchen. What is also perfect, is that you have two terraces to sit outside. Our host Fabio and his wife are very kind and helpful and we really loved our stay in their barn."
