  • A wonderful stay at Il Poggio

"We stayed at Il Poggio for two weeks and chose this home for its handicap accessibility. (My mother is temporarily in a wheelchair and does have the ability to walk short distances.) She was able to get all around the first floor in a wheelchair. There's a wooden ramp outside that allowed us to get her to the side porch and into the dining room. One bathroom downstairs had a grab bar and an elevated seat, both very nice for her use. Overall, the house is spacious with large bedrooms. The kitchen is large enough to fix light meals. Who goes to Tuscany to stay in the kitchen cooking? The amazing views of the surrounding landscape aren't shown in the photos provided online. And it is extremely peaceful as you are about 1 km off the road. Internet was primarily available in the living room and a couple of bedrooms upstairs. The home looked just as shown in the photos and was in excellent shape. We visited a cheese maker/farm/restaurant near Pienza, went hot air ballooning just outside Montisi and visit the Avignonesa winery for a tour and lunch. We made day trips to Sinalunga, Pienza, Montalcino, Montipuciano, Assisi, San Gimignon, and Cortona. We found Luigi to be very helpful and friendly! I highly recommend Il Poggio for your stay in Tuscany!"

  • Clean and spacious

"Stefano was an excellent host. I was traveling alone and he gave clear directions to his place from the train station and recommended an excellent restaurant for dinner. The walk from the train station is a true 10 minutes. The walk to the main square is about 20-30 (depending on your walking pace). If you're driving there is ample parking outside the apartment. The apartment in general was cozy and clean. I was lucky to have the place to myself. It would be ideal for families or couples traveling together because of the common areas. I felt safe and comfortable in the area. Stefano was available during my stay when and if I needed him. Robyn (New Jersey, USA)"

  • Genuine and memorable Tuscan experience

"Pondere Cunina is one of the top-grade place we have stayed at. A great location for a base and to explore SouthernTuscany. This farmhouse, is run by a genuine, passionate and hard working family. Even though are visit was during the critical timing of olive harvest and oil making, Silvana, Marcello and Piergiorgio, generously offered us a cooking class and an olive oil tasting (a must). Located on a small hill top among olive trees and a beautiful herb gardens, this place is a perfect location to enjoy the immediate surrounding while exploring the beautiful areas of Southern Tuscany. With another couple, we rented the Salix which is a large 2-bedroom apartment, clean, fully equipped kitchen with a magnificent view of the countryside. A truly Tuscan experience!"

  • Sehr schöne Wohnung - absolute Ruhe - TIPP

"Sehr schöne Wohnung, abgeschieden in den Weinbergen. Absolute Ruhe - Erholung pur.
