  • Beautiful Apartment by the Beach but.....

"The apartment is gorgeous, very spacious and well decorated. The location is excellent, very close to the beach and just a couple of minutes walk to the restaurants and shops of Rhosneigr. There were however a few minor issue. The biggest of which was the noise from upstairs. This was particularly bad early in the morning and affected the quality of our sleep, especially that of my (older) parents. The kitchen could do with some more equipment- only one rusty baking tray and the new recycling ragtime was a bit of a pain. There is also some damp under the window in the master bedroom. As mentioned by other guests, we felt that not allowing paying guests to use the outside space at the front of the apartment, especially in the summer, is rather unfair. This should of also been made explicit in the advertisement for the property. All in all a wonderful, spacious, light and airy apartment but it did feel a little as if we were house guests sharing the owners home."

  • Beautiful cottage

"We wanted to explore Wales and visit a number of castles in the area and we thought this cottage would be a good location to travel from. The cottage has been updated and it was very clean and well maintained. Doug (owner) was nice enough to have eggs, butter, bread and a bottle of wine waiting for us at check in. Him and his wife were extremely friendly, helpful and easy to work with. We had dinner at The White Horse pub (down the street) and the food and service were very good. While we traveled in November (not the greatest weather in England) we were lucky as the temps were in the high 50's and the days were sunny. While the cottage is a little hard to find, we were able to travel everywhere from this location which was very convenient. We visited Pembroke Castle, Caerphilly, Cardiff Castle. Chepstow, Raglan and a few more. I'm sure that the pool and tennis courts would be nice to use if we came at a different time. I would recommend this cottage and working with Doug was a pleasure."

  • Ideal location

"It was a real home from home and set in just the right place for local shops, Pubs and restaurants. I went with my local camera club very close to so many scenic places. Quiet street but you may struggle for parking if you go in more than one car. The house was very clean and cosy. Will be going back next year."
