  • Lovely holiday in Freshwater East

"We had a lovely time staying here. Property was easy to find and access and very pleasant inside. Had everything we needed for our stay. The cake and milk in the fridge was very welcome and a thoughtful touch. Everything was set up as requested with travel cot. We couldn't make the oven work but Peter came around within minutes and his magic hands sorted it out! Enjoyed walk from the house to Barafundle Bay along the coast path (very hilly!) And enjoyed being less than 5 minute walk from a lovely beach as well as close to other nearby attractions. Would happily stay again. Only things that would have made the stay even better would be sharper knives for chopping but that's a minor thing! Thank you for our lovely holiday."

  • Wonderful Escape

"From the first phone call everything went smoothly. Directions were spot on even though we arrived in the dark. The cottage was lovely and warm as we stepped in and where greeted with fresh bread, eggs and bubbly!! Thankyou ❤️ The cottage is beautiful, peaceful and quiet. Just what we wanted. It is the most equipped place we have ever stayed and we travel a lot. I cooked at "home" 4 out of our 5 nights and every pot pan and utensil I required was available. we met Martin and Kim one afternoon and had a nice chat. They could not have been more helpful."

  • Beautifully presented. A real home from home.

"This cottage is superbly appointed and wants for nothing. Situated in a very quiet lane with plenty of walks if you have a dog. Loads of games, DVD's and books if you have Children. Very cosy and immaculate. Exceptional welcome pack from very thoughtful owners. Great position for exploring all of pembtokeshire. We had a lovely stay and would thoroughly recommend it."

  • Great Holiday Home!

"Lovely furnishings, rooms and beds. Spent a lot of our time in the relaxing warm conservatory with the large TV! The kids had the lounge due to Wifi service and extra seating places! Plus there was a large fantastic choice of videos for them to watch using the TV in the lounge which suited us grown ups! Also enjoyed the CD Player with some selections of CDs. Suggestions on where to visit and places to eat/drink were really helpful. The wok and slow cooker were just great to cook a variety of Malaysian/English foods. So refreshing to find a selection of good sharp knives! Little touches like coffee, tea, washing liquid, detergent, toilet rolls etc. Raincoats and; even a dog's bed and water bowl were not only fantastic but thoughtful. The dogs enjoyed a long drink after a long drive. Thanks. The downers are not having towels and beddings. They were extra baggage. Also no dishwasher. Don't mind washing up but it did take up much of our time. Plus, it's nice to relax on holiday after a meal and not worry about washing up. The other snag is having only 1 bathroom to share which to be fair - we were warned about by the owner. Luckily, we adults showered either early in the morning or late night. The need for the toilet was the only nightmare. Just to point out though, we did not let any of this spoil our holiday. Both adults and kids have thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks for a memorable holiday! PLEASE DO NOT PRINT COMMENTS BELOW. THIS IS ONLY FOR THE ATTENTION OF THE OWNERS. The only suggestions to make are - the cleanliness around the kitchen,, pantry shelves, the oven and the barbecue set in the garden (ended up not using it) requires extra attention. The pantry had some canned and bottled food - useful but had to throw some away as they had expired. Also it would be a good idea to have a 2nd fridge especially with the house accommodating 10 people. Need a few good corkscrews to open wine bottles. Last of all, the garden could do with some tidying up - more enjoyable to sit out in the conservatory with a lovelier view. Hope this helps. ."
