  • New year break

"Clean, modern chalet with good facilities. Nice touch from the owners putting the complimentary toiletries with each towel. We booked late and only wanted a few nights to celebrate New Year in Tenby. We all wished that we had booked a longer stay. It's a stunning location, ideal base for exploring coast paths and the surrounding area. Penny was very easy to deal with and we will be booking again."

  • Fabulous property in a beautiful location

"Just got home completely refreshed after spending a week here. What a gem this property is, with all it's amenities and it's awesome location. The owners - who are on site, have thought of everything in this fabulous renovation and it shows. Sitting outside at any time of day, you cannot fail to be impressed by the views. If you are an artist you would only need to step outside the front door to capture the most amazing images. It is so tranquil and yet so easy to travel quite short distances to many local attractions - we particularly enjoyed seeing the Red Kites at Bwlch Nant yr Arian, walking at the Hafod Estate and riding the steam train from Devil's Bridge to Aberystwyth and back. We have stayed in many properties around the world that we have found on VRBO, but this one is far and away the best. We will be returning again and again."

  • Beautifully presented and well equiped with fantastic views. A little more isolated than we expected

"The cottage was approached by approximately 3 miles of single track road which was a little daunting until we became accustomed to the passing places. The cottage living area was large, well equipped and beautifully presented with fantastic views across the valley. The bedrooms were very spacious with loads of storage space. The cottage had bags of character and had been very sympathetically converted. Although we visited in July, the heating was available twice a day and there was always plenty of hot water. Mr & Mrs Roberts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Although the weather was not brilliant when we stayed, we still had a fantastic time and enjoyed returning to the cottage after a tiring day walking and sightseeing."

  • Amelia Cottage , Burry Port

"The cottage was clean , comfortable , warm (particularly appreciated during the periods of inclement weather)and well maintained. The garden too is lovely and would be great for young children and dogs. Beaches in the immediate location are wonderful and the Country Park at Pembrey offers forest walks and bike rides and other amenaties as an alternative . Be aware that out of season many places have reduced opening or are closed which can be challenging if you wish to eat out etc. We would recommend the cottage to anyone wishing to explore this area of Wales."
