  • Well equiped holiday let close to sea & coastal paths

"Westerly is a great base from which to explore the Pembrokeshire coast. It was warm comfortable & very well equipped. The let was very clean & tidy with a very comprehensive instruction guide which covered everything within the house as well as giving pointers to good walks, trips out & a number of great places to eat. Julia & Richard provided lots of information about the booking before our visit which put us at ease. Top holiday let! We intend to return & have passed on details to friends & family."

  • Fantastic location with stunning views.

"Great property close enough to walk to the beach and shops. Spacious and lovely views from the front of the house out to sea."

  • Lovely cottage, great location!

"A beautiful cottage with a great view! Overlooking the beach with easy access - probably takes less than a minute to walk to the beach. Cottage was well presented and owner was very helpful and friendly. Worth taking slippers etc in winter as it can be a little chilly downstairs in the evenings as the heat rises to the upper floor of the cottage but apart from that it was a great stay and I'd definitely recommend it! Would be a great place for dog owners. The village is quite remote so expect to have to drive for shops, restaurants, takeaways etc. Very peaceful and quiet. Thank you Teresa!"

  • The best holiday cottage I've stayed in - great location, lovely accommodation

"If anything, the pictures of the cottage fail to do it justice. It looked great in the pictures, but was even better when we got there. The cottage itself is great for four people; the kitchen/dining room, living room and bedrooms are all spacious and well furnished, and the bathroom is also excellent. The kitchen is well equipped and nicely laid out. The property is clearly well looked after and maintained and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Communication from the owner - directions, instructions, details on local places to visit, etc. - was excellent too. The location is lovely - close enough to Solva and St David's to make visits easy, but very quiet and peaceful. The Pembroke coastal path is within easy reach, with plenty of good walking to be had. We had evening meals at three places - the Druidstone Hotel at Druidston, the Cambrian Inn in Solva and the Shed at Porthgain - all of these were excellent. There's a small fish shop in Solva (called Something Fishy, and really just an extra kitchen in somebody's house) which sells locally-caught wet fish and also dressed crab and lobster. We had some mackerel that was delicious. I would have no hesitation in recommending this cottage very highly to friends or relatives."
