Wintzenheim Logelbach Station holiday lettings

A beautifully maintained property, very clean and tidy. The gardens are very large and the swimming pool is surrounded by every type of seat and umbrella imaginable. Nothing is too much trouble for Patrick and Valerie, always on hand if required. Wickerschwihr is ideally placed for exploring this part of Alsace; a most beautiful area with villages of the utmost character. We could safely recommend this property and this area to anyone.

Such a lovely Gite, modern, well furnished, well equipped and very comfortable. There’s a near-new Weber gas BBQ for guests’ use and a superb swimming pool. There is even a lockable garage, which I consider to be essential for our convertible sports car. Our hosts, Valerie and Patrick were friendly and helpful. Location is good for exploring Alsace area being a few minutes from the very attractive Colmar and Ribeauville. We thoroughly enjoyed our week and wish we could have stayed longer.

This is a really lovely well equipped house. It is perfectly placed within walking distance of the beautiful town of Ribeauville with a large supermarket just around the corner. It has a large garden with 2 good seating areas. Hosts were very friendly, we really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was well thought out and well equipped. Although we didn’t meet Grégory, everything went smoothly because he had sent out comprehensive information in advance of our stay. The apartment is at the quiet end of town but less than 10 minutes walk from the centre. Turckheim is a charming old town with Christmas traditions. At this time of year the restaurants get fully booked for the evenings, so it is advisable to book in advance. The Stammtisch is larger than most, so there is a better chance of finding space there and we the enjoyed the meals, however we would particularly recommend L'Autrefois.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful gite. The property itself has been beautifully and sympathetically renovated and provides spacious and comfortable accommodation for a big group. Everything that we needed was provided (just had to bring hand soap for the basins in the bedrooms). The towels and bedlinens were very good quality and the beds were extremely comfortable. Julie was a wonderful host who gave us a lovely warm welcome and replied promptly to any questions we had. The location of the gite is ideal. Situated in a beautiful village, very close to all the amenities of Colmar, but surrounded by stunning countryside. Everywhere we wanted to visit was within an hour's drive (including Europapark/Rulantica and several summer luges). Thank you Julie for a really wonderful stay, we hope to return one day.

When we arrived at Murbach, our host was there to welcome us. She showed us round and explained everything very clearly. The chalet is lovely and very well equipped. The garden is beautiful and views over the village and to the abbey are wonderful. We would love to return some time.

Very well equipped. Everything was very new. Comfortable bed. Lovely kitchen. Garden area was perfect for a quiet meal in the evening. Bathroom has large shower cubicle and two sinks, all built to a high specification. Location was good as a touring base for the wine route. Train to Strasbourg and good roads to Colmar and Basel etc. Owners were friendly and helpful. We had one tiny problem and it was dealt with immediately. Really didn't want to leave!!

The views from the house are fantastic - the nearby Vosges on one side, the further Black Forest on the other and surrounded by vineyards. Apart from the view it was fascinating to see how they tend to the vines. The large living area window added a lot. The terrace has the all-round view and a high level of privacy. The house was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. There's not much to Bennwihr but the nearby villages of Riquewihr etc are very attractive with lots of restaurants. The military cemetery on the hill opposite is worth a visit - we walked through the vineyards to it. We had good walks in the Vosges, around Kaysersberg (leaflet from the tourist office) and in the vineyards and we were able to travel easily to Strasbourg (very good and cheap park and ride - see their website), Colmar, Freiberg and the Black Forest. Large Cora hypermarket five minutes away at Houssen. We had a warm welcome from Denise who lives in the building and speaks some English although getting the arrival information was a bit last-minute, possibly because the owners were on holiday. Thoroughly recommend the apartment and area.
