Vacation rentals near Woodstock Golf and Country Club

The house was fabulous, the history amazing and the hosts couldn't have done more for us.We were three generations (12 of us) travelling to show the grandchildren the wonders of their grandfather's homeland and the Castle House at the Barracks was a perfect base for our stay in this part of Ireland. It was close enough to many of the things that we wanted to see, from Bunratty Castle, the Aran Islands, Craggaunowen, the Cliffs of Mohar and the seaside. Thanks so much Marion.

Lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of the country

We were close to all the best trad pubs. Most excellent stay.. the central location worked out fabulously. Site seeing by day, music by night.

The home was better than stated on the site. Great location for us as we had a car. It would be difficult to get around without one. That being said we did not try any other way than by car. Would stay there again for sure.

A peaceful quiet spot to relax and enjoy the country. Enjoyed the farm tour and meeting the animals. Our host Barbara was great. Close to local sights and easy to get to. Overall a very nice place to stay

We needed a place that was fairly close to Limerick, the Burren and within walking distance of the shops and cafes. This house fitted our needs. Communication with the owner was good and instructions for entry and operation of the backdoor lock were clear. The kitchen was well equipped and the two bathrooms made getting ready for the day easier.
