Holiday rentals near Castelvecchio Natural Reserve

The villa lived up to all expectations! The views over the Tuscan countryside to San Gimignano are stunning. The villa was very clean, and many sundry items are provided such as olive oil, some milk, herbs and other things too. Massimo and Doretea were super helpful and friendly too, and the welcome information on the villa and the area is really comprehensive. The pool and outside areas were where we spent mistbof our time but the interior is very good too. Very highly rated and reccomended

Wonderfully situated property in a very peaceful location made for a relaxing holiday. Lots of walking close at hand, including stretches of the Via Francigena. Equally, many classic Tuscan villages/towns within easy reach by car. We were lucky enough to have unseasonably hot weather and the air conditioning within the property was effective and essential! The owner greeted us in person and gave us a full and clear check in. We had no reason to trouble him during our stay and checkout was equally straightforward. We have no hesitation in giving a 5 star recommendation and hope to return.

We went as a group of 10 friends. The villa is outstanding. Enough rooms and private bathrooms for all. The most wonderful garden and pool area. Private chef was worth every penny. Wonderful experience.

This 1 bedroom apartment is huge, with a lovely outdoor area and views over the valley. Just 5 minutes walk from San Gimignano and all its shops, bars and restaurants, 5 minutes walk to the supermarket and right in the heart of Tuscany. It has a glorious pool and outdoor space to enjoy and the owners were attentive and helpful.

Perfect apartment in beautiful location. Stunning pool with vieews across to Volterra. Minor problem with the plumbing that was sorted out immediately. Apartment is bigger than the photos suggest - the ceiling is at least 10 feet high. Aparfment very well equipped.

I have stayed in lots of places and this has to be the closest to being allowed to stay in someones precious home. The facilities were perfect, its such a well planned and loved home which just happens to have one of the best views in italy. We loved its peacefulness, starry nights and dramatic thunder storms.

A lovely comfortable house with plenty of space for our family group of 10 across the 5 bedrooms. The outside table and relaxing loungers were perfect for socialising and sharing meals together and offered shade and amazing views . The pool area is also excellent with a beautiful salt water swimming pool, loungers and umbrellas offering welcome shade . Paola and Valerio were excellent hosts , always available but never intrusive. We would strongly recommend taking up the offer of meals by the hosts .They were really delicious , extremely convenient and we all enjoyed them very much.
