The home was super clean, gorgeous, and fit all of our needs. The host was quick to respond with all communication and getting in was super easy. Overall we plan to be back 10/10.

We have stayed here more than once and will return. It is the best short-term rental we have found on Watauga Lake. Everything is provided and more. Clean, modern, comfortable, well-decorated, well-maintained, and well-equipped. The entire property is lovely. We always have a wonderful and relaxing stay!

From the moment we unpacked the porch was calling out me. My husband and I are from Vermont and it was a LONG drive. Miss Pat and George were so accommodating and friendly. Invited us to church social and gave us some pointers on local animal rescues. The Cabin is BY FAR THE BEST EQUIPPED VRBO rental we have Ever stayed at and we have stayed in a lot in 10 years. Nicely situated for a weekend retreat. Airstream is nice and new. Patio/deck is nicely landscaped. Good dock and close to a public boat ramp. Small store and 2 restaurants within easy walking distance. There is no boat trailer storage on the grounds but the public ramp across the creek has a large grass field where trailers can be temporarily left along its perimeter. NOTE: Center of field MUST remain open as it serves as a helicopter landing area on a sporadic basis. You cannot access the boat ramp through the private Bayview Campground entrance. You must go about 1/4mile past the Butler Trading Post store and the campground and turn R on the 1st gravel drive

This is a perfect lake house for a family vacation. It has everything you need to enjoy the water, from the kayaks and paddle boards to the floating mat. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The pavilion near the water provides shade and great spot to rest after enjoying the lake.

On the lake with all the toys- kayaks, SUP, row boat. So private with beauty all around you. House was large, beautiful cabin, well stocked.

This was the perfect family vacation site. As grandparents we wanted ti create fond memori s at a place that offered a peaceful, scenic, safe, and comfortable environment. We found this and more staying at the Waters Edge. Watauga lake is beautiful and we spent hours swimming, kayaking, and lounging on the decks. Our grandchildren dubbed one of the two walkways down to the water as Candy land. There are a lot of steps but we managed just fine by always having an adult or two with a child to ensure safety in navigating the steps and water. The home is equipped with everything you could possibly need. We truly enjoyed our stay and plan to return next year. The highlight of our trip was a furry visitor at 2:00 AM on the last evening of our stay. The outside garbage bins are built and organized well to prevent these creatures from breaking in. He or she ran away when we turned the front porch light on!

The house is in really good shape and very clean. There were a lot of useful things in the house like wood, cleaning essentials, games, automatic vacuum cleaners and kitchen supplies. Everything was perfect.
