  • Relaxing at the Grand Villa

"This place is wonderful! Many times better and costs less than most hotel rooms. It was just the 2 of us, with tons of space. There's plenty of room for 3 couples. The views of the city & ocean are spectacular. From the large luxurious patio you can watch all the giant Frigatebirds and Turkey Vultures swirl in the warm breeze. We enjoyed the sounds of the people and the city (not as sterile & over Americanized like some other resorts in Pedregal). The dipping pool with it's gorgeous 200 degree view was super relaxing at the end of a day of walking. The Residences at LaVista staff were responsive, accommodating and friendly. Every night of our 7 days we found another great restaurant within easy walking distance: Salvatore's, Maro's Shrimp House (not for kids), LaDolce and LaPampa to name a few. Happy Ending bar was a real hoot to watch customers who are getting 2 tequila shots & 2 beers for $5. We booked with Whale Watch Cabo and were able to view sea lions, a sea turtle & 6 humpback whales up close. Michelle (owner) was so easy to work with. She sends you a very thorough list of helpful information. We will definitely be back & recommend the Grand Villa to friends!"

  • Adventure location in itself!

"We were 10 guys, we all had a brand new confortable bed, 5 bathrooms, you really dont imagine that below the street level you will find such a unique house, they literally carved it on the mountain rock and then sealed all possible cracks to avoid water or bugs. This was like going to Universal Studios.. (for grown ups). The living room is a dream very wide and with like 40 ft sliding doors opening, no columns, directly to the marina view, at night looked like NY or Vegas all lighted. optic wifi makes a lot of difference. Hot tub takes like 10 minutes and you have to turn the timer every time. The propane BBQ is very nice. And double kitchen.. helps. Definetevely not Buckingham Palace...and rather than a beach house is a rock house, and we made it Rock!!! going to town is 3 blocks , but the amenities Pedregal has are to die for, private beach, spa and gym, tennis courts, and private security, wow we felt like Rock Stars.. hope to come again next year..."

  • Paradise made even better

"We rented the house last year and again this year, and didn't think it could get any better, but we were wrong. The two new bedrooms downstairs are fantastic, like having three master bedrooms, all with the best ocean view possible. In addition, the new decks and remodeled areas make the house even nicer."

  • VLP = Best Vacation Spot Ever

"I don't know where to begin. I surprised my entire family with this house and they were absolutely speechless. Monica was amazing and was in contact with me months, weeks, and days prior to arrival making sure everything was taken care of. From the time we literally stepped through the front gate we were spoiled beyond belief, being greeted with margaritas. The pictures of the house were so pretty but seeing it in person is so much better and the views are breathtaking. The staff was so great and took care of us every second of the day. Monica booked our spa services, dolphin excursions, the "boys" fishing trip (in which they caught a 250 lb Blue Marlin), dinner reservations and even took care of making a special anniversary dinner take place for my brother and sister in law. My 3 nephews (ages 10 months, 1 year and 3 years) had a blast in the kiddie pool and soaking in the sun and they loved the staff. My nephew Brady looked forward to feeding Darwin (the turtle) every day with Monica. The chef services were amazing. Every meal wowed us especially the fruit sculptures at every breakfast. The VLP staff has become part of our family and we will forever keep in touch with them. We hope to make a trip back there very soon even though i don't think we could ever top this vacation."
