"This was our first time to Cabo and I must admit we were a little reluctant in renting a private home, something we have not done before. However we were not disappointed and even felt we received more personalized service than had we stayed at a resort. When we saw Villa Kanga on the website we were excited and made contact with its owner Fiona. Once we had booked Fiona made sure any and all queries were answered immediately. Pretty impressive given she lives in Australia!. We were greeted by Melani at the airport and made to feel very special for the next few days. Samia made sure all our needs were met from pre shopping for us, restaurant booking, filling the freezer daily with ice, to organizing Victor the chef for our final night. Our housekeeper did not speak English so it was fun trying to understand each other, however Samia was only a phone call away to translate. The Villa is luxurious and spacious with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool area is the main focal point and the swim up bar was fantastic. The pictures don't speak for the villa it is truly wonderful. We certainly will book Villa Kanga again and hopefully stay longer next time. A big thank you to team Villa Kanga !"

  • Family trip

"My wife and I celebrated out 50th anniversary with our children and grandchildren at this fabulous place. The pictures do not do it justice. It was everything as advertised. Fortunato and Lulu are wonderful hosts and made some spectacular meals for us. They certainly added to our enjoyment there. Amanda answered all my questions and helped with transportation needs. My thanks to all of them in making this a trip to remember."

"My husband and I along with four close friends stayed at Villa Kanga from Feb 20th till the 27th. We knew we were in for a treat just by the stunning photo's of the place...but wow!! right from the word go, Elaine the owner of the property made everything so smooth and easy, she is golden, such a lady she answered all of my zillion questions promptly and even called me a time or two to reassure me of a few things. The home it's self is great! we all had plently of privacy when needed and more than enough room to roam, we certainly enjoyed our lazy afternoons poolside planning our evenings either there or just a short walk uptown to all lights and sounds of our favorite city Cabo:) Elaine was not wrong when telling us that a car was not needed as we were close to everything. We look forward to our next vacation and yes it will be at Villa Kanga, I look forward to planning another adventure with our friends and of course speaking with who I would now call a friend, Elaine:) Thanks so much for all your wonderful advice and help when planning our vacation it difinitly was our pleasure!! xx"

  • Amazing Getaway!!!

"Our stay at “Toro Rojo” was absolutely outstanding. The house is huge! Every bedroom has it’s own full bath. As soon as we entered into the house, we were presented with a large open floor plan that spans from the kitchen to the left, across the dining room, through the family room, and into the master bedroom. All of this overlooks the Sea of Cortez through sliding floor to ceiling windows. The family room, MB, and outside patio area all have a TV and you can hook your phone, IPOD, etc into the stereo, so listening to your favorite music station, playlist, Pandora, etc was a great option. There is full Direct TV cable, but to be honest, we only really used it for the music channels or a quick catch-up on the news. The house is very clean, tastefully decorated, private, and has central air. Everything is 110v so all your electronics from the U.S. will work. There is a large grill and outside bar area right by the pool. The Jacuzzi flows into the pool below via a wonderful waterfall and both can be lighted at night, which adds a great amount of ambience! There’s plenty of lounge furniture along with a patio table with chairs that includes an umbrella, which we utilized a lot because hanging out by and in your own private saltwater pool overlooking the Sea of Cortez was the plan-of –the-day! This amazing home is located near the top of a large hill that rises steeply up from the marina and is sandwiched between the Pacific Ocean and the Sea of Cortez. There is only one controlled entry/exit point to this exclusive community, which has a guard shack that is manned continuously. There’s also a continuous roving patrol. Due to the excellent location, we chose to walk down the hill several times so we could enjoy all the views and the architecture of the other homes. Catch the sunrise in the morning at the house, then walk to the backside of the hill and catch beautiful sunsets in the evening. If you choose, you can walk down the backside of the hill to a private beach on the Pacific Ocean. The staff is exceptionally friendly, helpful, and connected. They took care of everything! From cleaning the pool and house to setting up desired activities with better discounts than you would normally get, to groceries if desired (you pay), to homemade margaritas upon our arrival. In closing, our stay was incredible and worth every penny. When we return, we will stay here again! Stay here! You will not be disappointed! Mark and Brian are the BEST!!!"
