  • Perfect house for 4 couples

"We had a bit of a problem finding the house when we first arrived. Once you get into the gated community, its confusing to find the actual home (the first time) and there was no welcoming committee. It would have been nice to have someone meet us at the guard shack but we finally were able to explain to the guard which house we were staying in because the guards barely spoke English. The house was great. 4 bedrooms, private, quiet, great outdoor area with a pool and bar, however, the pictures make the house look a little newer than it really is. The cleaning lady was amazing. She came for several hours each day and made our beds, swept, washed towels, dishes, etc. Because there was no one there to greet us or show us around the house when we first arrived, we had to find the clean pool towels and learn how to operate the TV's, ceiling fans and Jacuzzi on our own. We finally had the property manager come over to give us a tour the next day but we had to reach out instead of him greeting us. Our chef was incredible. He cooked us amazing dishes as well as daily guacamole, salsa and margaritas. We loved taking walks around the private, gated community and looking at all of the beautiful homes. We felt very safe but its a far walk from the beach. All downhill and you are not allowed to swim at that beach. You have to drive a few minutes to another beach to swim. The only real complaint was when we were in the car and ready to leave to the airport for our return trip home and the property manager had the nerve to ask us for $40.00 to pay for 2 wine glasses that we accidentally broke. We all know you could buy a box of wine glasses at Costco or Walmart for $20.00. We were offended that we would ask us to pay for the 2 glasses after all of the money we paid to stay at the house stay. Other than that, everything was great and we would definitely stay at this house again."

  • A little piece of Heaven awaits you at Villa Esperanza

"Spectacular is one of the words that comes to mind from the moment you walk through the door to the incredible view. This home is absolutely gorgeous and beautifully appointed with all the comforts you would expect in your own home. There is no better view of the Ocean, it is stunning. Love the multi layered outdoor area with the fire pits and the negative edge pool that makes you feel as if you are able to float right out into the ocean. The staff at Villa Esperanza is incredible, starting with Antonio the house manager. He met us there when we arrived to show us around and made sure we had his contact information. We had three outstanding dinners at the house provided by Louis, Bella & Arturo. They were dressed in white starched chef's jackets and cooked the most amazing meals. Not only was the food utterly delicious but the presentation was beautiful. It is quite obvious they love what they do. Lettie cooked us breakfast each morning. Each morning we had a beautiful feast of fresh fruits, pastries, breads, eggs and her famous potatoes - fabulous! Our transportation needs were complicated, 14 people, fishing, golfing, shopping, etc. Kathy was amazing. She was always on time and very reliable. The ladies who took care of the house every day were absolutely lovely. Changing our sheets and towels out daily and keeping the house meticulously clean. I would return to Villa Esperanza again and again to vacation."
