"This was our first time to Cabo and I must admit we were a little reluctant in renting a private home, something we have not done before. However we were not disappointed and even felt we received more personalized service than had we stayed at a resort. When we saw Villa Kanga on the website we were excited and made contact with its owner Fiona. Once we had booked Fiona made sure any and all queries were answered immediately. Pretty impressive given she lives in Australia!. We were greeted by Melani at the airport and made to feel very special for the next few days. Samia made sure all our needs were met from pre shopping for us, restaurant booking, filling the freezer daily with ice, to organizing Victor the chef for our final night. Our housekeeper did not speak English so it was fun trying to understand each other, however Samia was only a phone call away to translate. The Villa is luxurious and spacious with large bedrooms and bathrooms. The pool area is the main focal point and the swim up bar was fantastic. The pictures don't speak for the villa it is truly wonderful. We certainly will book Villa Kanga again and hopefully stay longer next time. A big thank you to team Villa Kanga !"

  • Beautiful view and across from the beach!

"My family spent 8 days at the beautiful Casa Brisa Del Mar. I loved staying here. The house is very modern and had everything we needed to cook and bake, both of which we do a lot. The hot tub and infinity pool facing the Pacific were amazing. We spent a lot of our time there. Dining at the table and watching the sunset was another favorite. Beware: the stone floors are very unforgiving when you drop things or knock something over, so we ended up replacing a few wine glasses. The glass shatters in a million pieces so bring a comfy pair of house slippers, just in case. I'd suggest using plastic, of which there is plenty for pool-friendliness. The beach entry is directly across the street, so that was fun too. There is also a large playground at the base of the driveway, where I played with my nephews. It has a basketball court, slide, swings and fort. Lots of fun! There is lots to do right around the house and lots of books too, if you just want to hang out in the hammock. I liked that 3 of the 4 bedrooms had Pacific-facing balconies. The beds are very comfortable and Maribelle came to clean every day. She was so sweet and wonderful but I would probably choose every other day next time. The staff is helpful and kind. If there is any issue, they will come fix it immediately. The hot tub wasn't hot enough for us, so we emailed one night and they came the next morning to turn it up to our desired temp. The pool cleaners came twice and were unobtrusive and kind. We rented a car, but it is just as easy to call for a cab if you want to go into town. The walk to town is hilly but not super long so that's possible too if you don't mind the heat. We ended up staying at the house a lot but also went shopping, golfing and boating. p.s. if you rent a car, be prepared to pay for the Mexican insurance, which is expensive. We have tried many companies, but there is no getting around this. I definitely would stay here again!"

  • Unbelievable villa, location and service

"The place was great and comfortably slept 11 guys. Plenty of living space for everyone as well. There's a hot tub and 2 pools that look out over the city. Its a 5-10 minute walk from downtown which was ideal. Never felt threatened. Edson is the manager and was a one of the best parts of the trip. We got him to coordinate our airport transportation, and we got him to stock the house with some food and alcohol. Also he will cook meals for you, and he is an excellent chef. We got him to cook us breakfast 2 mornings and it was fantastic. Our group was on a bachelor party and it is definitely the way to go. I have stayed in a resort a few different times but casa de Miguel and its location was by far the best place I have stayed! Highly recommended!"

"a last minute decision to get away resulted in one of the most relaxing no stress vacations! Found this wonderful little hidden treasure nicely tucked on a hillside in Cabo San Lucas. Located within walking distance to an array of restaurants, entertainment and endless water activities . From the airport we stopped for groceries and loaded up on necessities. Our group was warmly welcomed with "Mexican Hospitality", Margaritas and a tray of botanas to whet our appetites! Our "Meet and Greet" Hostess toured us around the house room by room explaining how the house operates, where to find "in house " amenities such as hair dryers, beach towels etc. Wi-Fi throughout this nicely decorated villa with wonderful Mexican charm. Maid service offered on the days of our choice was a bonus and unexpected surprise . We tipped her well. The layout of the house was perfect for our group with a huge living room and fully equipped kitchen. Two master bedrooms only footsteps from the living area. Right outside the front door was a nice little area to barbecue and relax. The terrace off the living room was our favorite spot to eat or snack at sunset with view to the Marina. A lovely bedroom and terrace was just below us with a living room and fireplace (nice little touch) and huge bathroom. Breakfast was enjoyed on that terrace on several occasions. We spent a majority of the days by the poolside and jacuzzi was a plus. we were recommended a variety of restaurants for every budget and did enjoy our evening outings. The house was so enjoyable we ate lunch and lounged at home just about everyday. We were very comfortable walking into town in the evenings for dinner and some dancing at the local spots. Security in Pedregal was excellent and always friendly. I recommend at least 10 days which basically gives you 8 days of fun and relaxation and two days of flying . Will definitely return hopefully December or January . We had six people in our group and we were beyond more than comfortable. It easily sleeps eight or nine if one has children. The ideal "Home away from Home!""
