  • Very nice staff

"The studio is very cosy, This is my second stay. It is well equiped A/C, tv, and Internet (more or less reliable). The best asset is the staff: very helpful and charming. The other residents were very friendly also. The room is well decorated, but a little over-decorated. The access by the main etrance is hilly, it is easier to get there from the beach. The view is nice but we can't see the whole Bandera bay beacause of a hotel building. The music from the hotel is to strong, even if there is no clients. Fortunately, the music stops around 11 o'clock in the evening."

  • Great location, great value!

"What a wonderful property for so many different reasons! Among the highlights..... 1) Layout - the condo is on the second floor of a 6 floor building. It is spacious, nicely decorated, and has the amenities that make a good vacation great (e.g., washer / dryer, full kitchen, water-cooler size jug of drinking water, etc.). There are lots of beach towels provided, so one less bulky thing to pack or buy. The TV is small and does have cable, although it's mostly Mexican cable channels. The wireless Internet works well, but note that the range is limited and works best in the living room / dining room / kitchen areas. There are also two wired phones provided for free calls - one for calls within Mexico, and a Vonage phone for calls to the US. Both were of great use to us when making extended calls to airlines to change travel arrangements. 2) Location - the condo building is accessible via a wide alley off a somewhat busy street. It is completely safe, and being off the main street means far less traffic noise. There is a security gate to access the stairwell, so random people cannot get into the building easily. Los Muertos beach is less than a 5-minute walk away. There are 3 small convenience stores on 3 successive street corners walking North on the main street - any of them will have what you are looking for (although I recommend the Oxxo on the 3rd corner). There are numerous restaurants along the beach and elsewhere in the Romantic Zone. The Rio Cuale shopping area is a 5 minute taxi ride or 15 minute walk at a normal pace. 3) Other Benefits - on the roof of the building, there is a small but nice pool along with several lounge chairs. There are good views of the bay, and it's a great place to get some sun without the sand. There is also a bar (unstocked) with bar stools, and a bathroom. Take a look around in the condo, especially in the cabinets, etc., before buying anything...the pantry in the kitchen has lots of sunscreen and some basic medial items, as well as some games (Uno, Chess, Backgammon, etc.). In the bathrooms, you will find shower gel and shampoo, hand soap, etc. Lastly, but certainly not least, the building manager Guillermo (Memo for short) is available 24x7 for any issues or questions. He is one of the nicest people around, and takes the time to make sure everything is right. His wife is also the housekeeper and does a fabulous job. In short, you will have a hard time finding a better value for your money!"

"Just returned to rainy Seattle after a wonderful week in PV. We have been traveling down to this area of PV for about 10 years and love this location. This trip we had 3 couples and was looking for a larger unit. This condo fit all of our requirements, 3 large bedrooms ensuites(there is a 4th bedroom with a bunk bed and another ensuite) and large common areas. We were not disappointed. We arrived at our condo to the most inviting view which takes your breath away when you walk in after your travel day. A large deck with plenty of seating, couldn't wait to settle in. The condo was just like the pictures. Right on the beach, palm trees and a beautiful pool. Being on the first floor technically the 2nd floor make easy access to the beach/pool and easy trips with groceries from the front door. With our deck doors open and our ceiling fans, we had no need for the air conditioning. The kitchen although open was a little snug with more than 1-2 people working, it had everything we needed and by limiting the cooks in the kitchen, we found our rhythm. Being on vacation we don't really need a large kitchen. The large bedrooms/baths were clean and comfortable. Being a smaller building, 10 floors with 2 units each floor made the pool area enjoyable. We would always find a place to sit around the pool, no need to get up early just to get a seat. The beach is really beautiful although when we were there the waves were rather large and a little much for the average swimmer. However 2 buildings down is another beach much more accommodating for the average swimmer and snorkeler. Ursula was very easy to communicate with and was quick in responding to all my questions. I told her she needed more reviews so I'm following thru with my review. Thanks Ursula we really enjoyed your condo."

  • More Fun at Las Estrellas!

"Our second time staying at Bob's place. Everything is so convenient and comfortable. I'm speaking of the condo itself and it's proximity to everywhere you will want to go in PV. We were there for 8 days this time and hated to leave. From the moment you step inside it's just like being home, everything you need is there. The pool is a great place to hang out after a day at the beach. All of the restaurants and fun places are just about a 10 minutes walk, if that far. Perfect location! See you again soon!"
