  • Great place to stay in Bucerias

"This is a great place to stay in Bucerias. So close to the beach and a short walk from town. The place is very clean and well appointed and was a great size for our 2 families to stay together. The upstairs beds were really comfortable too! The owner and property manager were accommodating and helpful. One note - to reduce crime of opportunity, be sure to keep the front door locked in addition to the front gate, even when you are at home as it is possible for someone to slip in and out of the bars of the front gate."

  • The best relaxing mexican vacation

"I absolutely love San Pancho, Mexico, a small but inviting town on the Pacific with loads of charm and the best restaurants. But it wouldn't be such a relaxing and fun vacation for me if not for Lincoln and Jill, the propeitors of Casita Cielo. Very private but close to the hub of everything. Lincoln's quaint coffee shop with the best coffee around and believe me, being from Seattle, I am very fussy about my coffee, is steps away from the most private and magnificent pool to swim in. And did I mention Jill's homemade pastries to go with at least one cuppa java? I love the privacy that the amazing garden's provide me if I am swimming, reading or making art. Just writing about this makes me want the next 6 months to whiz by and I will be there again in my little secret paradise. Couldn't recommend this more highly."

  • Villa Mananitas- Paradise

"My family just returned from Playa Las Tortugas, and our 7 night stay at Villa Mananitas. We had an absolutely spectacular time, from the 100 ft walk to the beach, to the warm Pacific waters, to the gorgeous villa, to the stunning pool, it was all perfect. The staff (with a special "thank you" to Pascual and Chela) was there for our every need. We had 3 dinners and 3 breakfasts cooked for us and they were all delicious. The landscaping was flawless, and our gardener tended to the pool and grounds every morning. You could never leave the villa and have the time of your life, but the beach is fantastic. We had a great time doing the following- wading across to have lunch at Platanitos, a half-day of fishing out of Platanitos, an afternoon kayak session in the estuary, and a 2 hr horseback ride along the empty beach. We will be back. One note- the 3rd bedroom is separate from the main house, so not ideally suited for a young child to sleep in alone. But nicely appointed with a private restroom and shower."

  • Fantastic, secluded, peaceful

"My second visit back to the Casa Higuera/Sofia property and loved it just as much. The first time was spent in the 3 bedroom casa, and this most recent was one of the casitas. The same, sensitive, interesting decor and layout, very comfortable and with beautiful views out past palm trees to the ocean. Very quiet and secluded, even from other guests staying on the property. Aaron & Marya - thank you for having created such a beautiful place to stay when in Sayulita."
