  • luxury, relaxing and great views

"We stayed at Villa Coronado as a family of 3 with grandparents. The house was perfect. The outside areas are key to a rental, and the covered porch, great furniture and pool loungers were ideal. The pool has multiple depths for fun use and the location of the house can't be beat. An easy walk to Money Bar if you don't want to cook. Even closer is a newly opened restaurant called Veradaro with fresh, excellent food - they will put a table right on the beach for you! An easy cab ride into town. We dove with Scuba Tony (highly recommend) 3 times over the week and they picked us up right on the beach across from the villa - we just had to wade out a bit! Great snorkeling right from the beach in front of the villa. Bring water shoes and you are set for great Caribbean snorkeling and swimming. Location is great in a lovely, quiet area of the island. Bedrooms are huge, as are the on suite bathrooms. The house manager was waiting for us when we arrived by airport shuttle and had perfectly stocked the house as we requested! We will be back!"

  • Perfect Family Vacation

"Our family of 4 spent 5 nights in condo #5. Katy was always very accessible and prompt to answer any questions we had. It was the perfect condo. It had plenty of linens, and kitchen supplies. There were enough beds for the kids to have their own, and a comfy king sized one for us. The king sized bed was very comfortable, not too hard or lumpy. We slept well. The convenience of the ground floor was wonderful, as was the location on the property. It's just a short skip to the pool and beach and is in a nice quiet section of the condos. The condos have chair and umbrella service at the beach and pool, and the Mayan Beach Club next door can bring you drinks and food to either place. Everything was so easy! Just what we needed on vacation. We rented a golf cart at the rental office near by and we also booked whale shark and snorkel trips through them. It was a great trip and we would definitely rent this condo again!"

  • Perfect stay in Playacar !

"Playacar is ideal for families looking for a safe place to stay in Playa del Carmen and acess to a great beach. Mark' and Laurie's condo is ideally located in Playacar 5mn from 5th Avenue and 10 mn from the beach. The condo is very, very, well appointed (bikes, pool toys, snorkel gears, beach towels, etc.), the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms very spacious. Shopping for food is easy either by taxi or by bike. We would cook most of the meals and go to the restaurant every 2-3 days. Lots of restaurants are within walking distance or a short cab rid away. We would finish every evening with a swim and a drink at the pool after a full day at the beach or some excursions (note: the organized tours had no problem picking us uo directly at the condo.) The condo also gives you access to the reef club resort (no food or drink included). We went there a few times and enjoyed it (a great option if you don't want to carry your beach chairs and beach umbrellas) but we were always happy to come back to our private condo and almost private pool as there was not often people in the pool. We stayed for 3 weeks in the condo, 3 adults and 1 child. Another plus, if you are doing an extended stay like we did, full cleaning of the condo (including change of bedding and clean towels) one a week is included. Very nice service and very efficient. Overall a great stay and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing place to stay with guaranteed sun !"

  • Orono, MN

"Can't say enough good things about Casa Callaway, the house and location would be tough to beat. The gated community and ongoing security presense (they stay in the background) was an extra bonus with our young children. Satuday nights with the music from the Riu next door was a little loud but it shut down by 11pm, no issues with this the other nights. However, what made our stay and overall experience truley great was the level service Diego (Maya Luxe property manager), Ara (house manager), Mireya (Cook) and America (Assistant) provided. Day or night they were always available to answer questions, help with whatever we needed, were never NOT smiling, the breakfast, lunches, mid afternoon sacks and dinners were outstanding. Cleaning crew did a great job and we hardly saw them while they were there. We've stayed in many higher end vacation rentals, the level of service we received and the overall experience they provided was the best we've had to date."
