Spent seven nights here in October and would definitely stay here again. We arrived early and was hoping to leave our luggage but the reception staff offered to check the status of our room and we were able to check in early. All the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and spoke English. The room was clean and very spacious, the bed was lovely and comfortable and we had everything we needed. The air conditioning was very welcome and works very well. The 747 bus stops very close by which couldn’t be better and the metro is very close as is the central station and the Centre Bell. The breakfast area can get quite busy but you could take things back to your room. There is a Tim Hortons and a Second Cup which are both close by.
Brilliantly situated in downtown Montréal. Close to all amenities and about 30 minutes from the airport. Plenty of cafés and shops and site seeing within walking distance.
Apartment compact but well designed, modern and clean. Brilliant having washing machine and tumble dryer for longest days. We will return.
Hotel is right in centre of the village at bottom of main ski slope so good views if on that side. Room has cooker, microwave, washing machine and tumble dryer and fridge. Hotel reception lounge area is huge. We are not skiers so went in quiet week just before season takes off in December. Also has underground car park if arriving by car so no snow,Ice issues to worry about. Resort has lots of places to eat, reasonably priced..assuming prices do not increase as season gets to peak time. Would revisit
Evolution was ideal for our family (2 adults & 1 child). We stayed in a 1 bed suite with an additional sofabed. The apartment had everything we needed, was well-appointed and spacious. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the booking in progress easy.
Our 11 year old loved the games room and, because the hotel was secure, we could let him nip down to play in it on his own. I loved having the washer/dryer in a laundry area (note: laundry soda was provided - bonus!).
The hotel was quiet too, which after 5 fabulous but frantic days in Vancouver was very welcome.
Creekside was definitely the right choice for us. It was quieter than Whistler Village itself but Whistler was very easy to access. We used to walk there and back, using the lakeside walk, which was lovely, but we noticed that the shuttle bus was very frequent - about every 10-15 mins - and the Reception at Legends (next door to Evolution) sold bus tickets. Obviously amenities at Creekside aren't as plentiful as in Whistler itself but there were plenty of dining options and we enjoyed having the flexibility to rustle something up in the apartment kitchen. The supermarket at Creekside was very well stocked. Great fish counter!
The icing on the cake of our stay, was seeing a bear mum and cub ambling down the creek and snuffling around the bushes adjacent to the hotel - a sight I'll never forget!!
I would definitely recommend this hotel and would not hesitate to stay here again if I return to the Whistler area.
Hotel le Cantlie Suites was ideally located for my visit. It is very close to the Peel Metro stop and it took under an hour to travel on public transport from the airport to the hotel. The hotel is in need of slight updating but it is clean and the staff are friendly and accommodating - just what you'd expect in any good hotel.
