Holiday rentals near Leon y Castillo House Museum

We had a great week at this property in February, loved the peaceful location with close access to shops for the apartment's needs, passing them on the way back from the beach and town. Not too far from the restaurants and town but some may find it a distance from the beach. As it was February the pool didn't get warm enough to use regularly but the courtyard certainly gets enough sun throughout the day for the time of year.Good communication from the host, Mikhail, and the check-in process worked fine. One small problem was soon rectified and the place is kept very clean.Would book again.Mark and Janet

Very comfortable and well equipped property. Lovely views. Not so good if you want to be near bars and restaurants, but with a car it's not too far to go. Great base for exploring and coming back for a peaceful evening away from the main tourist areas. We particularly enjoyed going into the mountains and swimming at Sardina. Late afternoons/early evenings in Puerto de las Nieves were good as well. Rolf was an excellent host.

Absolutely perfect stay … hosts were so much fun and we will be back without a doubt next year . Peaceful relaxing and friendly.

The perfect place if you are looking to get away from it all with beautiful surroundings. No noise, or people just bird song and lovely views. The farmhouse was very clean and well equipped and the host was wonderful and welcoming. You will definitely need a car and the nearest shops, restaurants etc are a 20 minute drive down a mountain road, but for us it was perfect. Would stay again.

Beautifully presented apartment in a fantastic location. Immaculately clean with everything you could need. Watch the sun rise over the sea from the balcony, then when you're ready, it's a 20 second walk to the beach. Main shopping area and bars 10 minute walk, but a local supermarket and 3 restaurants within 2 minutes walk. Well managed, by Susana and Jolien, and any assistance is only a call or message away, not that we really needed it. Highly recommended.

The owners are brilliant! We were treated like old friends when we arrived and Juan & Marie made sure we had everything we needed before they left us to it. The apartment is in a great location on the beach, with the city on the doorstep. The apartment itself was clean, comfortable and well equipped. This is probably the most 'Spanish' resort we've ever been to. We found the locals to be extremely friendly and we're looking forward to returning in the near future.
