  • I've Never Written a Review, So You're Going To Want To Find Out What Made Me Write This One!

"Usually the pictures and descriptions overrate a property and you end up being disappointed when you arrive. Not the case at "Idle Days". This time the pictures and descriptions didn't do it justice! The home, supplies, activities for the family, and view were unbelievable! When two families with a total of 13 (ages 10-53) are all happy and want to stay another day and come back the next year, you know it's PERFECT! Beautifully decorated inside, gorgeous views of the lake outside from so many decks we couldn't find where everybody was relaxing with cider and a book or magazine! So many large screen t.v.'s to watch football and movies and a door to close off noise between the two! Did I mention cooking? More gadgets, utensils, pots and pans than I have at home! Definitely enough to cook 3 meals a day for 2 families! The home was also clean as if I had cleaned it myself for company! The only negative is that we don't own "Idle Days"! Thank you, Tracey for allowing two sisters and our families to get together and enjoy each other's company for a little while again!"

  • The house is absolutely gorgeous, not too big just right.

"We had a great stay, loved the house. The only downside if any was the covered boat slip wasn't available for our use."

  • Perfect Weekend Getaway

"We stayed a couple of weekends ago for an early Christmas.. There were a total of 14 of us, ranging in ages from 2 to 61. The house was perfect for our stay. The location is a little out of the way, but that is something we liked. We didn't get to enjoy swimming due to the time of year but we did get to enjoy the fire pit. Matt had wood available and had even left us a goody basket that included items to make S'mores. The grandchildren loved it! The location is kind of hard to find. Some GPS will actually take you to the home. AT&T Navigator will not so don't even try. The home is only a couple of miles from Arley. I made several trips to town, including picking up burgers from the Arley Coffee Shop and the Dollar General. For a real grocery store you will have to drive about 9 miles south. Everything is available there. When you enter the home (up several steps) there is a full laundry on the left, a nice bench and hall table. This is a great place for coats and shoes. Walking into the house you will pass the main floor bedroom on your right which has a queen sized bed and a main floor full bathroom on the left. Straight ahead you enter the dining area with a table that has room for about five. There is a small living area on the right with seating for about six, a fire place, and flat screen TV. While the living room space is small we managed to fit everyone in that area so it really can hold a lot of people. I was afraid it might be too small but it was not due to the open living space. The kitchen opens to the dining and living area and I really liked it. It has everything you can need, including a coffee pot, microwave, dishwasher, full stove, refrigerator, crock pot, and more. I love the way the areas are decorated, as well. The porch is great with two tables to eat at as well as plenty of chairs and great views of the lake. The downstairs has a great master with a king sized bed and large master bath. The bedroom has a flat screen and great lake views. The other large room has two bunk beds (double on bottom, single on top), a day bed, a couch and a recliner. There is also a large flat screen and a full refrigerator. The kids loved it! Upstairs you will find two bedrooms with double beds and a full bathroom. One bedroom overlooks the lake. The home was clean, Matt was great, and we loved the location. We really hope to go back next year when it is warm. Please check with Matt if you have someone with mobility issues before booking"
