  • Excellent home and vacation resort!

"We traveled to LInda's home in late April. Found the accomodations to be EXCELLENT- everything we needed for a small group of 4 ladies to relax, enjoy the scenery as well as swim in the pool! This is such a nice wonderful area for relaxing, shopping and a short trip to Sedona. I would highly recommend this area- great restaurants, country western dancing and entertainment. 5 STARS from all of us!"

"A small golf vacation for a few guys to celebrate a son's/nephew’s 16th birthday turned into a full-blown vacation for 4 families with 17 people (8 adults, 9 kids between the ages of 5-16). Our biggest issue, where do we stay with all of these people? We needed to find something where the kids would be entertained and the adults could enjoy themselves. This vacation probably would not have happened if we did not find John's house in Cave Creek. The pictures you see do not do this property justice - the house is magnificent. Great open entertaining space, 1st class gourmet kitchen, beautiful dining room w/ mountain views, master suite you have to see to believe! Accommodations were perfect for our group and every aspect of the house was enjoyed – you truly did not have to leave (and we only did once!) Amenities were all first class – outdoor pool area w/ swim up bar/grill; mini-golf (which the kids loved and was very fun); trampoline; basketball court; theatre room (w/ full bath that opened to the outside - key for the long days at the pool) and game room were all utilized to their max. Indoor/outdoor entertainment system completed the great entertainment package. John and his family tried to think of everything in this house and it is definitely an entertainers paradise. For those familiar with the Phoenix area, Cave Creek is in a great spot for a vacation. Far enough north to be out of the hustle of the valley, you definitely feel secluded and away from the craziness of normal life, yet close enough to the necessary vacation amenities - golf, grocery stores and other necessities (like Starbucks) are all very close. We took a day trip to Sedona, and the ride was about an hour and a half, so its convenient to other local attractions too. I am a home owner (as many of us are), so I always expect issues when I rent houses/villas (and I do it often) – key is for the owner to be responsive to these issues, and John definitely was. We did have a few issues and he took immediate ownership and worked hard to fix the situation. In one case, he could not get an AC issue resolved timely, so he catered a Mexican meal for our group on the final night! (Thanks John!) Overall, an absolutely fabulous vacation in a great location at a wonderful house. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a private resort disguised as a house We didn’t even mind the 115 degree heat! Only question for my group is how quickly will we be able to return??"

  • Location, location, location!!!

"Spending a month in this townhouse was a terrific experience for us and our little dog. The location is great: walks to town, shops, restaurants, and activity! There is lots to do and many day trips available for those who wish. We enjoyed meeting Mary Beth and Brian; they are so helpful and hospitable. The unit is spotless and well furnished -- everything you need, even when you first arrive. There are mountain views from the upstairs balcony; the fireplace is cozy for the cool evenings and mornings; there is abundant wildlife to see and hear (coyotes at night). All in all, it was a restful, rejuvenating month for us. We highly recommend this property and commend the owners for offering an extremely pleasant experience!"

  • Perfect Place to Stay

"We have stayed in this property for the past two years and have rebooked again for this year. We would agree that Christine is a wonderful hostess! And frankly, the other reviews are very accurate. This is a perfect location for us halfway between our extended family and town (15-20 minute walk). Neat and clean with all the amenities. Comfortable bedding, and living space. Nice views from kitchen and pool area. Private fenced in yard. I would add that the Cave Creek/Carefree area is not anything like the Scottsdale/Phoenix valley. It is a very eclectic blend of cowboy, artsy and affluent pockets too. From watching bull riding, art and craft galleries, great bars, many dining options and a michelin rated restaurant, horseback riding, aggressive hiking, shooting range, and golfing, there is always something to do. We've been vacationing here for about 10 years. It also saves about an hour of driving from the valley if you want to go to Sedona or Flagstaff or Grand Canyon."
