  • Very nice, convenient stay

"A great spot for a wonderful stay for our family of 3 in Fayetteville. Could have comfortably fit another person or couple who wouldn't mind sharing a bath. Can't beat the proximity to Dickson St. and easy parking. We enjoyed the patio, spacious kitchen, sweet leather chair, and clean and welcoming bedrooms. A note for those for whom mobility is a concern: Slightly uneven stairs up to the deck/front door, and the walk from Dickson St is uphill, though not terrible. Thanks, Jeff! Wish we could've stayed longer."

  • Fabulous Family-Football Weekend!

"We met family from Nebraska for a family weekend, well, and a Razorback game as well :) This house was so "homey", right down to the board games we found. Very relaxing and beautiful. We probably spent as much time on the decks out back as we did in the house. And the location can not be beat. We were able to take great pictures of the stadium lit up red at night from the deck. The owners were very attentive and accomodating from the booking process through to checkout. This has become our new place to be when in Fayetteville."

  • Perfect!

"Our stay at the Deepwoods house was everything we hoped for. We had our small wedding outside at the house and stayed the weekend with our closest family. The setting was secluded and beautiful. It was the perfect place to spend quality time with our family and friends. Neil was always available and helpful whenever we needed him. Thank you, and we will be back again!"

  • Nice place for two who get along

"We really enjoyed our stay. Be aware, however, that the house is not suitable for wheelchairs or, for that matter, for people who need space. It is small, though perhaps a bit larger than a hotel room with a kitchenette: at least the bedroom is separate from the combined kitchen/living room. What was really nice is that my husband could easily walk to the conference he was attending at the University, and I could easily spend time visiting the fabulous used bookstore on Dickson Street or using the nearby 35 mile bicycle path (we brought ours with us, though the nearby bicycle shop would probably rent one). This rental unit is attached to a much larger rental home which we were able to take a quick look at--it was beautiful but more expensive (nice, perhaps for a group or very large family). The house was clean and secure, and the neighborhood fairly quiet despite this being a neighborhood with lots of students. We enjoyed a few breakfasts out on the back patio. The window air conditioner got quite a workout in the ninety-plus temperature days: we appreciated the ceiling fans. All the appliances worked. It's not luxurious, but then neither was the price. We both liked the Hog House. I visited the Clinton House (the student working there was much too young to answer most of my questions) and the Prairie Grove Battlefield (Civil War) State Park ."
