  • Such a beautiful area, cozy home and relaxing property

"We had seven adults and a 2-year-old for a family getaway, from grandparents to parents to granddaughter. What a PERFECT setting. It was rainy a lot for the first few days, but the house has enough amusements (games, different stair levels) to drive cabin fever away. Great kitchen for cooking up gourmet meals—with the suggestion of adding a 11X7X2" baking dish. High points: Great comfortable beds, high-quality linens, fantastic living room and sectional unit for hanging out, spacious decks to step outside and take it all in. We lived on that middle level all day with the kitchen, dining and living room area flowing into each other for perfect hangout flow. All in all, one of the best experiences we've had as a family that gets together (away) a lot. Highly recommended."

  • Would definitely stay again in summer or winter!

"My boyfriend and I came here with three other couples for New Years and we absolutely loved our stay! The cabin was clean, cute, and cozy. A nice added touch was each room had its own bathroom and there was a wood burning fireplace that kept us toasty! The cabin hosts were super friendly and helpful but not overbearing. We all agree we would love to stay here again!"

  • Little piece of beautiful paradise

"This place was a breath of fresh air, tucked away down a windy paved road along ranches, orchards, vineyards, and family homes. The house had everything needed, lots of teas (I'm a tea person, cannot comment on coffee) with a private hot tub, and covered deck for lounging and enjoying a view of the Canadian geese on the pond. The deck had a nice breeze and lounge chairs to enjoy the quiet nature. We enjoyed swimming around and lounging by the pool some days, paddling around the pond and feeding the fish other days. The house also has a nice grill on the deck. Sandra graciously also offered fresh vegetables and fruit from her garden and orchard to us, a nice addition. I appreciated that she composts and recycles. All was clean and as advertised. We had the hot tub turn off on us, we texted Sandra and she came down to reset the hot tub. This place is great for coming and staying put to enjoy the scenery and relax. There isn't much as far as attractions or things to do within walking distance. It's about 20-30 minute drive to downtown Placerville, as I commuted to a work assignment each day there, and it was nice to relax after work. It was a great time and I look forward to coming by again the future, I'd certainly stay here again should my travels bring me this way again."
