"This is my second stay at Trabucco House, and I can't wait to return! Whether reading by the pool, sipping wine on the upper terrace (with outdoor fireplace), or dining on the back patio, there are so many lovely places to sit and relax. Even though it is in the heart of Mariposa, the vistas in every direction are of green hills and trees — not a house in site! We were six, but the place can easily sleep ten. It is only 40 minutes from Yosemite, but we never wanted to leave!"

  • Heaven on Earth

"When we booked our stay here, the property sounded too good to be true. It turned out that it was Better than we thought it would be. The owner's pay attention to all the details that made our stay here an awesome experience. We left late for our days at Yosemite, and came back early because we wanted to revel in the marvelous home. The views are indeed spectacular. Listening to and watching the hummingbirds was facinating. Watching the stars while in the hot tub was sublime. Writing about it cannot capture the serenity and beauty of this wonderful property and owners."

  • A great place to stay with plenty of room, convenient location and awesome view!

"My wife and I took our family of four boys and a girlfriend to stay for two nights so we could be close to Yosemite. We found the home warm and inviting, with plenty of room, a well stocked kitchen with all the right utensils and cookware. It was very clean and had plenty of pillows and blankets for everyone. The hot tub was amazing, and the view from the deck at night under the stars was breathtaking. Mariposa is just a short drive away with great restaurants and a grocery store to meet our needs. Thank you!"

  • Great trip

"This was a nice place to stay! The house had everything we needed and the owner was nice and responsive. It was clean and the beds were very comfortable. We loved it ! Couple warnings about the area (no reflection on the house which was great) The town has very little to see- short of the mineral museum. The gift shops are the usual hokey stuff for the most part. There is a great bakery and great ice cream place. The restaurants in town pretty much stink and are ridiculous in price. There is a new Greek place that is good and there is a place called savourys that everyone loves. We didn't go there because the prices were high. We did go the "Charles street dinner house" and it was overpriced and they were rude. Don't go there even tho everyone recommends it. Yuck. I would go to the supermarket which is actually a great market and cook. He house has everything you need to make your own food so do it. It's a great house. The park is far, and the ride is beautiful but be prepared for a windy road. Overall it's a grew place ! Just stay home and go to the park - skip the town!!"
