  • Great Beach Front Family Home

"If you have never been to Tahoe Meadows - you must go -- it is magical! Nestled on Highway 50 by Stateline, it is a quaint gated community of days gone by. With bonfires on Saturday night, a baseball field and 3 private beaches with docks, there is something for everyone. We were so fortunate to stay last week at Lakan Lodge. A lovely cabin of knotty pine, large rooms, and the most well-stocked kitchen in any rental we've ever stayed. The spacious downstairs master was perfect - as was the "bunk room". Upstairs another full bathroom and two queen beds. The large dining room table was perfect for those evening games we so love playing. The wind-protected outside patio was perfect for all meals - you get the lovely views without the wind. And those views - incredible!! You walk out the front door and you are right on the beach with views of all of the surrounding mountains. And all this within walking distance of the Casinos, shopping and restaurants. We would highly recommend this property and hope to enjoy it again in the future. Thank you."

  • Excellent!

"This was our 3rd time staying at Clement Lodge...and once again, it was an excellent experience. As long as it is available, we will continue to stay at Clement Lodge."

  • Super fun house!

"Had an adult Bachelor Party (over 40 crowd) and the house worked out perfect. Everyone thanked me for getting such a cool pad. Taught some of the guys how to officially play shuffleboard and they were hooked! (Nice touch by the owner having the official game rules printed out & posted by each game). I think we managed to play every game available, even horseshoes and badminton in the back yard. No little hotel style shampoo and soaps, so make sure to bring your own. Minor detail. No hot water when we got there. Noticed the hot water heater was on low, so we turned up and boom.. All good. (We turned it back to low on checkout day). House is cozy and clean. Beds everywhere. All the basics supplied, dishes, coffee maker, working bbque. Couple of guys mentioned it would be perfect place to bring the family cause of all the in house entertainment for the kids. Hope to be back soon!"

  • Great choice

"We've had our first trip to Lake Tahoe this month of August. Traveling 7 persons, 5 adults and 2 kids (8 and 3 yo) we decided to rent a cabin so we could spend our vacation all together rather then be separated in some hotel rooms. Our choise of this cabin was great! First, the pictures on the website do justice in reality: everything was as described. Second, the location of the cabin is fantastic! Beautiful forest, fresh air, gorgeous atmosphere to relax. Rooms and baths were clean, everything arranged for you to feel welcomed. We didn't use the sauna. Nice to have one though :) There were extra clean linens, pillows, and towels available (we didn't use the extra ones), extra blankets. I liked the kitchen and everything in it, very handy! Having a bbq grill available on the patio it's just super! We bought charcoal from the local store and enjoyed our evenings by the fire. So relaxing! The stereo system was nice. We didn't use the tv, just to have more family time. The fireplace was beautifully done; however, didn't use it either. We spent our evenings mostly on patio by the fire. There are even some family games, some incomplete, but fun! :) The garage is open, no doors, but not a problem at all, is like a covered parking. A couple of big stores are near by where you can buy groceries, souvenirs, everything you need for the stay. They even sell hot soups to go. We were buying hot soups for lunch, not bad at all and very convenient. The cabin is really close to Heavenly Village, a place full of cafés, gift shops, gondola ride (breath taking), general store. Beaches are close, around 10 mins drive. We were at Zephyr Cove (Queen Tahoe cruise, we didn't take this time), Sand Harbor Beach (such a beautiful view!), and Emerald Bay. There are a couple more beaches we didn't have time for, definitely next time :) Gary, the owner, was very responsive, by e-mail, text messages, and phone. He even allowed us to check in earlier then 3 pm; well, we've arrived around 2pm anyway since we've stopped on our way in Hawthorne at the Military Museum and spent there some time. Quite fascinating place! Anyway, Gary was always in touch, which we really appreciate. It was a beautiful vacation in such a gorgeous corner of nature and our stay at this cozy cabin just made it more comfortable. We definitely will come back to this place again!"
