  • Comfortable Family Retreat Home

"The most amazing feature of this large home is the game room with all sorts of fun activities for any age. The kids always had plenty to do while adults were busy with meals and cocktails and watching the Rio Olympics on one of the many TVs. Outdoors there was a jacuzzi, and badminton court. Each of the five families had their own rooms. The master bedroom, with the only king-size bed, had a tub for "kid baths." The kitchen was well-equipped with a blender, waffle iron and two coffee pots. in addition to pots and pans and plenty of glassware. I would recommend bringing a knife sharpener and your own can opener, as these two well-used kitchen tools tend to dull rather easily. The giant island was great for food prep and serving, and the heavy, wooden dining table was large and perfect for all of us. The dishwasher was brand new and got plenty of use. We had a problem with the refrigerator on our first day, and Kris responded to my text message in record time, and even brought us a new one until the repair man could take a look at the one with the issue. He said he didn't want us to have to keep going downstairs to the refrigerator in the garage. He took very good care of us that week. The house is conveniently located near bike paths. We biked to Stateline, and in the other direction, Camp Richardson and Pope Beach. There is a community pool for residents of the Keys, and it was well worth the $7.00 per person fee good for 24 hours. Kris's home was comfortable and relaxing for our annual family retreat."

  • The entire property is amazing. From the house to the backyard and dock!

"This is a wonderful lake house to rent. The owners have taken meticulous care to everything in the house and you really feel like an invited guest. From all the kitchen items to the sheets and towels. There is so much to do too. The kids fished and kayaked right off the boat dock, the bike trail is just a few blocks down the road that took us to Camp Richardson and Baldwin Beach. We were a short drive to the Edgewood Golf course to watch the celebrity golf tournament. Definitely want to come back again next year! None of us wanted to leave!"

  • Great location - close to stateline and boating on lake

"The owner is great to work with and she will get back to you promptly. The unit is well-kept and we were able to sleep two families of four comfortably (w/3 boys sharing one room). You can also sleep on the couches, which are very comfortable (and long). Can't beat the proximity to the hot tub and the pool, which was great for our kids to keep them busy while we rested in the unit. We were able to walk to the lake in about 10-15 minutes. There is a dock next to the CVS nearby where you can also rent boats, but they tend to sell out early."

  • Magical

"Absolutely beautiful and serene. We stayed here for an extended family vacation and were very satisfied. It's close enough to the lake, tourists attractions, and the lake tahoe blvd., but far enough that you get away from the hustle and bustle of tourist traffic. The property is nice, large, and private. The huge backyard leading to the creek is breathtaking. Both kids and adults thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our stay."
