  • Gorgeous home & gracious hosts!

"This home was stunning! It has a bohemian chic vibe and was curated beautifully. We loved the kilim rugs in every room, the high ceilings and beautiful dream catchers sprinkled throughout the home. We wish we had more time! Azita was a gracious and accommodating host and very easy to work with. The kitchen was well stocked with everything needed to prepare a meal. They have two large refrigerators in the kitchen and have one completely cleaned out for guests to use. There were Sonos speakers in every room for playing music, which was great. There were a lot of mosquitoes (it is in the canyon and quite warm that day) so we just used bug spray and it was no big deal. The home was a quick drive to Topanga Canyon state park and to the Inn of the Seventh Ray restaurant, which was just gorgeous. I would recommend staying here and would love to return again and spend more time!"

  • Like a bottle of very good whine

"A very pleasant house in a very special surrounding. Perfect, if you want to visit LA areas or Malibu, but benefit from calm and cool nights away from the crowd. Very friendly and easy handling by the owners. Narrow mountain street connects the property as well as the few neighbouring houses on the hill to the village down in the canyon. Easy to find. A broad area of level ground around the house, terrace-like, gives comfortable room for a hammock, arrangement of table and chairs, even for parking wherever you like. The house itself, inside, is generous with light, be it natural sunlight or artificial. Very tastefull choice of the interior design, practical and comfortable at the same time. You may end up staying there instead of leaving for another trip to the city. Two minor remarks only. One concerning the last 120 feet (maybe) of unpaved country lane down to the house, where i was happy with the SUV i had rented. The second concerning the fact that no curtains exist to shut the view through the glass doors of the living room and one sleeping room during nights. But you can most probably rely on the fact that no one has ever occured in the garden who was not expected."

  • Nice basement apartment get away

"My husband and I had a great time at the vacation apartment. I say apartment because it is a basement apartment that has just enough space for the two of us. The host provided plenty of movies to watch and books to enjoy. We did use the hot tub which was excellent but it was too cold for the pool. There was a nice view from the a deck that you walk up to that we drank our coffee on one morning. Overall it was a good experience."
