  • Beautiful location, comfortable place

"This was my first experience with VRBO (or any AirBNB-type thing) and it went nearly flawlessly. Sue made things very easy for us with transactions, handover, and locations. The house was clean as a whistle. It's not a modern designer executive home, but rather felt kind of like a cabin, but spacious, and with all of the bells and whistles. There was plenty of space, plenty of light, a new washer & dryer that we were glad to have the use of. Gas stove, good-tasting tap water. A beautiful deck and back yard. Lots of trees every place and the air smelled fresh and camplike. Could easily be a party house. There was a good & spacious fridge and even staples and sundries available. There was a private entrance to the miles of lovely beach just a couple blocks down the hill. Games and books and wifi - a perfect summer place. Everyone we met (and their dogs) was friendly. The beds were a little bouncy & no pets allowed, but otherwise, it was pretty ideal. I will do this again, for sure."

  • Beautiful rustic cabin. Perfect for a romantic getaway.

"We had a wonderful, rejuvenating experience for 5 days by the Russian River. The cabin is very much like a cozy tree house perched on top of a hill. There are 2 cabins connected by a wooden stairway. A smaller one with a captain's bed and a bathroom and a larger space with kitchen, living and dining area. Windows look out on tall trees all around you. There is a large wrap around deck that feels completely private with views of the trees and hillside. There is even an outdoor shower for rinsing off after river adventures. I felt like I was in an organic shampoo commercial showering in the middle of a forest! We loved the rustic feel of the wooden cabin complete with a wood burning stove. As many reviewers have mentioned, there are a lot of stairs to climb and getting back and forth from the driveway will get your heart rate up. And no TV or internet access. But we felt it was well worth it for the magical feeling you get of being high up among the trees. The cabin is also a 3 minute drive from town and only a 5 minute walk from the river itself. I would highly recommend this place as a romantic getaway or a fun cabin to share with a small group of friends."

  • Great Escape 3

"Our group of 8 had our third visit to the Perch this fall. Everything was fantastic as usual, with a new pool/hot tub and remodeled bathrooms providing additional comfort. With an extensive kitchen, we chose to eat dinners at the house and enjoy the deck, hot tub and incredible view. The Owners have always been extremely helpful and easy to work with. Already looking forward to our next visit."

  • A Great Place to Stay while visiting SF

"Returning to SF this year, my wife and I did not consider another place to stay and simply rented this apartment again. It remains an ideal choice when in SF. Close to everything and in a vibrate neighborhood with many dinning options."
