  • Absolute gem, highly recommended!

"The house was even better than we expected. It was stylishly decorated, very well equipped and spotlessly clean. The beds were comfortable, and we had plenty of room for our 4 kids. Our youngest appreciated especially the toys available, which were a nice bonus. The trampoline in the backyard kept our older kids entertained for lond periods of time. The house had a parking spot on the street, which was large enough for our 8 person car (Ford Explorer I think, similar size than Yukon xl). The location of the house was great, the street is one of the nicest in the area. There is a beach nearby ( about 5-10min walk), a small grocery store with a good selection and several restaurants. I appreciated most the Land's End nearby as there was a good trail for running - with great views toward the Golden Gate. I recommend the house highly and would definitely stay there another time - unfortunately not likely as SF is far away from Finland."

  • Experience SF like a local

"I cannot recommend a stay at this property highly enough. Dana and his partner were great, hospitable hosts, and I feel that they went out of their way to make me welcome and make the most of my time in SF. The property is in a quiet, safe, charming residential area. The sunroom is exactly as pictured, and offers a great view, airflow, and abundant natural light (you're likely to wake with the sun). It is well-serviced by public transport within a few minutes' walking distance. I had no problem navigating the staircase. The bed is comfortable, and the amenities were ample for my 11-day stay. As a first time visitor, I appreciated the local feel of Noe Valley, but still found it easy to explore the city's various tourist attractions. Regardless of whether I wanted to be active, or just lie back and put my feet up, this was the perfect place for me to stay. I would have no hesitation staying here again."

  • A Gem in Russian Hill

"With 3 grandchildren in the Bay area, we frequent the city often, and have rented several properties in the past. We were fortunate to find this little gem in Russian Hill. We rented for a month, 12/22/15 through 1/21/16, and found it to be the perfect place for us. The unit is equipped with all amenities. Everything you could possibly want is close by; restaurants, groceries, pharmacy, transportation, etc, etc, etc....Quiet and elegant surroundings make this place one of a kind. Anne, the owner is most accessible and available at any time. We have already booked our next visit this summer!"

  • Our best apartment rental.

"We are just finishing our first stay at David’s house, and I can’t say enough about how pleasurable this month has been. We’ve rented apartments in a variety of locations, and his place tops them all. The furnishings are of amazing quality – no leftover odds and ends here. I use a Cuisinart coffee maker in the morning! The art in the house is astounding, so many quality canvases, prints, photos. We spend a fair amount of our inside time just appreciating them. For a one-bedroom house, the space is amazing, a full kitchen, family room, formal living and dining rooms, thick soft carpets everywhere, it’s truly remarkable. The garden in back is great. It’s well-tended, and sitting out there with a beer at the end of a day of touring is perfect. There is a new, huge Lucky’s supermarket literally a block away – and it’s a flat walk, no hills! Three of our favorite places to eat and drink are just across the street from the market, and the lovely Panhandle is a mere three blocks away. We have great memories now of sunny walks among the giant eucalyptus. We’re not in the heart of “old” San Francisco, and we personally find that to be a plus. It’s wonderful to be able to enjoy that area sometimes, and then to come home to a quiet, lovely residential area. We are bus people, and the buses in this area are incredibly convenient. The Ferry Building is 15-20 minutes away by bus, another whisks you right to the center of the beautiful Presidio, four or five others move you to Fisherman’s Wharf, Nob Hill, the Castro and Noe Valley, on and on. David is impressively attentive to any issue you may have and responds almost always the same day to emails. He has a handyman on call, there are cleaners that show up every two weeks, very clear instruction notebooks strategically placed around the house. Communicating with him has been an ongoing pleasure. Too good to be true? How sincere is this evaluation? We’ve already booked the house for next year!"
